This past weekend the 35th annual Festival of the Masters at Downtown Disney. The event showcases more than 150 award-winning artists, upwards of 200 "street" chalk artists, entertainment, merchandise and food.
If you have never had a chance to attend the Festival of Masters before, it is well worth a visit. Admission and parking are complimentary, and it gives you a rare opportunity to take in some incredible art from some really talented individuals, all in one place. As you'll see from the photo tour below, almost every square foot of Downtown DIsney's walkways is used for the event, including 7000 sq ft of "street" chalk art.
Outside of the art, most of the Downtown Disney restaurants operate "Food and Wine Festival" type booths, where you can purchase sample sized offerings from the regular menus. For example, Raglan Road were offering their legendary Bread and Butter Pudding for $3.
Next year's event is to be held from November 11 – 13, 2011.
