Hawaii, the Caribbean islands and Portugal will join the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival for the first time in 2011 according to the
official Disney Parks blog. Some of the offerings from these new kiosks will include Kailua pork sliders in Hawaii, ropa vieja in the Caribbean and calamari salad in Portugal.
Perhaps most interesting for Epcot fans will be the opening of the Odyssey Lounge, which will serve speciality cocktails and wines, along with providing games, internet access, and mobile charging stations. The Odyssey Restaurant itself has been closed for a number of years, and currently serves as a special event space.
More than 270 chefs will participate in the event, including Jeff Henderson, Cat Cora, Alan Wong, Gale Gand, Suvir Saran, Jamie Deen, Rock Harper, and Celina Tio.
Eat to the Beat! Concert will be back at the American Gardens Theater, and you can
view the list of shows here.
