On Wednesday, August 30, the official Disney Parks Blog will host the virtual world premiere of "Unlocking the Disney Treasure: Adventure Awaits Onboard Disney's Newest Ship."

This video will unveil new details about the Disney Treasure, the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Viewers will learn about its dining, family entertainment, and unique areas.

According to Disney Cruise Line, the design of the Disney Treasure is influenced by Walt Disney's passion for exploration and embodies the theme of adventure. Features include the ship's Grand Hall, inspired by grand palaces and taking cues from Asian, African, and the Disney classic, "Aladdin."

The sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Treasure, will set sail in 2024.

Dang. I was hoping for a Lion King show.

Yup, Lion King will be Destiny’s version of Arrendelle and Coco.

Nope. Hercules, Seas the Adventure and Frozen have all been confirmed. The Lion King show will be dinner I'm sure

Same, I love most of the shows but wasn’t a fan of the Little Mermaid on the Wish and wasn’t a fan of the Aladdin show on the Fantasy, I’d rather they just stick to retelling the classics from my childhood rather than modernizing everything. The acting and stage shows are still impressive, just bugs me when I expect a story I know and get another.

I love most of the shows on DCL, but I was not a fan of the Little Mermaid. As for the Destiny, the 3 shows are Hercules, Seas the Adventure, and Frozen (I honestly wish they had brought back Villains Tonight instead of Frozen)

    Sorry just asking,

The shows - B&TB, Little Mermaid, Golden Mickeys - on Disney ships are amazing. I'm hoping the Destiny will have a Lion King show to match the dining experience.

That's an odd question to ask. @Disney Analyst said it was "fantastic". Isn't that enough for you? If you doubt him, you can watch the video and make your own judgment.

    Is it really that good?

Just saw a video on YouTube of the Moana stage show, and it's brilliant. Wow. A fantastic adaption, and fantastic show.

It has a seating capacity of 1274, which is slightly smaller than the Dream-class’s 1340, but larger than the Magic-class’s 977.

Doors open 30 minutes before the show starts so I’d be there within 10 minutes of doors open.

How big is the theater with the Moana show? How early would you need to arrive to snag decent seats? We voyaging on the treasure in March.
