Disney has unveiled a first look at the Haunted Mansion Parlor, the world's first Haunted Mansion-inspired bar aboard Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, the Disney Treasure.

According to Disney, The Haunted Mansion Parlor will immerse guests in the next chapter of the Haunted Mansion saga, bringing this fan-favorite lore to life in a whole new way. The one-of-a-kind experience will be a swinging wake unlike any other, that of a jovial captain who entered the ghostly realm after a disastrous dinner with his beloved fiancé.

The design of the Haunted Mansion Parlor will resemble a first-class drawing room of a classic cruise liner from the golden age, invoking inspiration from the original Haunted Mansion with a nautical twist. Complete with nostalgic tributes to Haunted Mansion attractions around the world, fans will recognize the iconic wallpaper and the distinctive purple armchair tucked in the corner.

You will also encounter a few legendary characters from the original Disney Parks attraction, as well as some new seafaring arrivals, in a portrait gallery depicting the Disney Treasure's own ghostly residents.

Watch the video below to see more of the Haunted Mansion Parlor.

Exclusive Haunted Mansion Merchandise Aboard Disney Treasure

Onboard the Disney Treasure, an exclusive new merchandise collection will be available.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor Music Box will be a keepsake inspired by an eerie music box that will be found inside the Haunted Mansion Parlor. As the rumors go, this mysterious box belonged to the captain's bride-to-be and only opens in the presence of malevolent spirits.

Inspired by the old grandfather clock from the original Disney Parks attraction, the Haunted Mansion Parlor clock will evoke the nostalgic allure of the Haunted Mansion.

And, a ghost may even follow you home on your voyage… The Haunted Mansion Parlor Mirror will offer a frightening surprise when the hitchhiking ghosts mysteriously appear in the frame.

Cocktails from the Beyond: A Look at the Haunted Mansion Parlor Menu

The Ghoulish Delight will combine ube fudge, oat milk and tapioca pearls into a glittery purple concoction, garnished with a gummy eyeball.

A ghostly twist on a classic margarita, presented to guests amidst a swirl of flavored smoke, will be another signature drink at the Haunted Mansion Parlor. Topped with a lemon salt foam, this tequila-based cocktail will contain a secret message, only to be revealed by black light.

Sympathetic Libations, will invite you to sip on sour cherry and blood orange flavors in a specialty tiki mug.

The Disney Treasure is set to make its maiden voyage on December 21, 2024, from Port Canaveral, Florida. The ship will offer seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.

Really impressed with the Haunted Mansion bar, the Star Wars one barely made an effort to be one as if you removed the viewport, it wouldn't really be one. They went above and beyond with this one.

Heavily themed is much better then the lack of theming on the old ships. and they arent actually heavily themed. They are just themed in quite a classy way.

Literally! But it also looks to be much better executed than the original. I was totally ready to be underwhelmed like I was with the original. So far the reality seems to be actually better than the artist renderings. While I'm a fan of marvel. I'm not sure dedicating an entire Disney ship to it was the way to go so I'm not sure how excited I am for the destiny. So I think treasure is going to turn out to be the crown Jewel of the wish class.

And by “heavily themed”, you mean “beat you over the head every other second that you’re on a Disney ship”, correct? We can thank former Master Ship Builder Bob for that. And really both Bob’s, since one or the other had to sign off on these.

Where is the $6000 drink? Leaving money on the table if they are not offering a premium experience like that. People like to pay for premium things… don’t they? Or is that only applicable in the parks? Another Wish. 😴

A lot of the effects in the Parlor remind me of effects used at Club33 in DL.

The Parlor should capture the essence of the attraction rather than replicating its exact details or worse offering a watered down version of the attraction's gags. Directly lifting from the original creates a redundant experience. The creatives involved should have respected the original, offering a distinct and unique experience that stands on its own merits.

Let's revisit my theory about WDW selling off the resort hotels, shall we... ?

It’s odd to me the DCL ships have gone from an understated ocean liner theme to heavily themed at the exact same time the Disney hotels have gone from heavily themed to understated. How can the same company actively add theming in one division while actively removing it in another? It defies logic. Either theming is appealing to your guests or it isn’t, make up your mind. I suspect I’m still going to prefer the earlier DCL ships but I can’t wait to get onboard the Adventure to explore all these cool new areas. I love the detail and all the theming.

How is it lazy? Doing no show scenes at all is lazy. They didnt have to put any show scenes in at all. Yet they did. And the bar seems to have plenty of HM inspired but not directly copied stuff.

I really like how the Treasure is looking so far! As one who enjoyed the Wish, I can’t wait to see how the two compare!

I do not like actual HM show elements being used here. It's lazy. The Haunted Mansion Parlor should be HM-inspired not stuff directly lifted from the attraction. The nautical additions are nice but Madame Leota and the Ghost Host should remain tethered to the mansion.
