Disney World Extends Operating Hours at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom Through October 2024

Disney has extended operating hours for both Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom through mid-October 2024, with earlier openings and later closings on select days.

Operating hours have been extended at Walt Disney World during October 2024

Magic Kingdom

October 2: 9 am to 10 pm (previously 9 am to 9 pm)
October 3, 4, 6, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18: 8 am to 6 pm (previously 9 am to 6 pm)
October 5, 7, 9, 12, 13, 16, 19: 9 am to 11 pm (previously 9 am to 9 pm)

Disney's Animal Kingdom

October 1-3, 7-10, 16-17: 8 am to 6 pm (previously 9 am to 6 pm)
October 4-6, 12-15, 18-19: 8 am to 7 pm (previously 9 am to 6 pm)
October 11: 8 am to 8 pm (previously 9 am to 6 pm)

In addition to the extended hours, operating hours for all Walt Disney World parks are now available through early December 2024.

Park hours at Animal Kingdom have been extended for the week of September 1, 2024. Standard hours remain at Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Sept. 1-7: 8am-6pm (previously 9am-6pm) *A note about an upcoming change to standard hours - beginning October 20, 2024 Animal Kingdom hours shift from 9am-6pm to 8am-6pm.
