Walt Disney World Updates December 2024 Park Hours and Early Entry Times

Walt Disney World has made several adjustments to its park hours and Early Entry schedule for December 2024, affecting Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. These changes include earlier openings and shifts in Early Entry times for resort guests.

Walt Disney World park hours have been extended from December 8 through 14, 2024

Here's a breakdown of the revised hours to help you make the most of your trip. You can check full hours through January 2025 on our operating hours calendar.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

December 11, 2024

Early Entry: 8:00–8:30 am (previously 8:30–9:00 am). Operating Hours: 8:30 am–7:00 pm (previously 9:00 am–7:00 pm).

December 14, 2024

Early Entry: 8:00–8:30 am (previously 8:30–9:00 am).
Operating Hours: 8:30 am–7:00 pm (previously 9:00 am–7:00 pm).

Magic Kingdom

December 8, 2024

Early Entry: 7:30–8:00 am (previously 8:30–9:00 am).
Operating Hours: 8:00 am–6:00 pm (previously 9:00 am–6:00 pm).

December 9, 2024

Operating Hours: 9:00 am–10:00 pm (previously 9:00 am–9:00 pm).

December 11, 2024

Operating Hours: 9:00 am–11:00 pm (previously 9:00 am–9:00 pm).

December 12, 2024

Early Entry: 7:30–8:00 am (previously 8:30–9:00 am).
Operating Hours: 8:00 am–6:00 pm (previously 9:00 am–6:00 pm).

December 13, 2024

Early Entry: 7:30–8:00 am (previously 8:30–9:00 am).
Operating Hours: 8:00 am–6:00 pm (previously 9:00 am–6:00 pm).

December 14, 2024

Early Entry: 7:30–8:00 am (previously 8:30–9:00 am).
Operating Hours: 8:00 am–11:00 pm (previously 9:00 am–9:00 pm).

Oh yeah I agree. With the park closing at 6 pm, it doesn't feel like it's "Into the night" as much as the others.

Extended at DAK is very underrated. It’s probably the most beautiful park at night. It’s about the same as Epcot where half the rides/attractions are closed.
