Passholder Magnet and Treat at Disney's Animal Kingdom - August 2024
Posted: Tuesday August 6, 2024 9:24am Et by WDWMAGIC Staff

Disney has introduced a series of exclusive benefits for Annual Passholders, running from August 14 to September 22, 2024, at Disney's Animal Kingdom, including a limited-edition magnet, a special treat, and a unique Magic Shot.

Timon and Pumbaa Passholder Magnet

Passholders can collect a special Timon and Pumbaa-themed magnet. Available at Chester & Hester's Dinosaur Treasures, the magnet can be picked up anytime during park hours. Passholders must present their valid Annual Pass card, linked MagicBand, MagicBand+, or Disney MagicMobile pass, along with a government-issued photo ID, to receive the magnet. Only one magnet is available per passholder, and they are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Rafiki Wildberry and DOLE Whip Orange Float

A new exclusive treat, the Rafiki Wildberry and DOLE Whip Orange Float, is available to passholders at Trilo-Bites. This tropical-themed dessert features wildberry syrup and Fanta Orange swirled into an orange-flavored DOLE Whip. The treat is offered during regular park hours and is available from August 14 to September 22, 2024, while supplies last. Passholders are required to present their valid Annual Pass ID from the My Disney Experience app and a government-issued photo ID at the time of purchase.

Exclusive Magic Shot

Passholders visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom can also take advantage of an exclusive Magic Shot. The Disney PhotoPass photographer, located by Discovery River between Africa and Asia, offers a unique photo opportunity featuring a prop of Timon and Pumbaa's favorite snack—a grub. In the final photo, Timon and Pumbaa magically appear, creating a fun keepsake. This Magic Shot is available daily during normal park hours from August 14 to September 22, 2024. To download the photo, passholders need to have an Annual Pass with the Disney PhotoPass Downloads Add-On Option or can purchase the image through the My Disney Experience app.

Last year I recall they also gave out a yellow Mickey AP pin the same design from the card. I would loved to get one!

Would be nice if I could get one in the mail if I didn't visit. Oh well.

How can they possibly afford that? My Incredipass was only $1500. We can't expect Bob to be living on the street.

I think if you live out of state they should send you the magnet in the mail

I have it I just thought this was odd

"Yay" Ray is horrendous and everytime I am passholder besides Dumbo, I can't get the classic good ones

Did they run out of magnets earlier than expected? seems weird to offer a magnet most people probably already have if they just gave them all away as expected

Update on the Ray Magnet - Disney says it will no longer be available in EPCOT after February 16 and will offer a Minnie Mouse magnet instead at Creations Shop. Disney does say if you visit EPCOT from February 17 though February 28, Passholders may be eligible to receive a Ray magnet in the mail later this spring. Here's the update: Please pardon any inconvenience, but the Ray Passholder magnet will no longer be available for pickup at EPCOT after February 16, 2025. From February 17 through February 28, 2025, Passholders will have the opportunity to pick up a Minnie Mouse Passholder magnet at Creations Shop in EPCOT during normal operating hours. Didn’t get the chance to collect the Ray Passholder magnet? Passholders who visit EPCOT between February 17 and February 28 may be eligible to receive a Ray Passholder magnet in the mail later this spring. To receive a Ray magnet, be sure to confirm or update the address for each Passholder in your household, with a valid US mailing address. Passholders who previously picked up a Ray magnet are eligible to pick up a Minnie Mouse magnet. Limit one Minnie Mouse magnet per Passholder. Available while supplies last.

I sent a message to the pass holder info message center and was basically told that they are in limited supply and after the distribution date ends, I can call and if there are any left they will mail me one. I mean, why not make enough for ALL OF YOUR PASSHOLDERS! Or at bare minimum, one per household for ALL OF YOUR PASSHOLDERS!
