Swimming pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village closing for refurbishment in early 2022

The Samawati Springs pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village will be closing for a lengthy refurbishment in early 2022.

Plans are for the pool to close in January 2022 and remaining closed through April 2022.

Along with the pool closure, the spa and Uwanji Camp will also be closed for the same period. The health club and Maji Pool Bar will remain open however.

Guests staying at Kidana Village will be able to use the Uzima pool at nearby Jambo House, a short walk away.

    The description of the article needs updating so as not to confuse anyone. The location with the pool refurbishment is Kidani. While Kidani is totally DVC units, it is not "the DVC wing of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge". It's a whole huge building and booked apart from Jambo. Also, Jambo is also DVC (5th and 6th floors). It is unaffected by this refurbishment.
