Speedway gas station at the BoardWalk Resort to close for refurbishment

The Speedway gas station that is located near to Disney's BoardWalk Resort will be closing for refurbishment.

Beginning at 1pm on Sunday November 5 2017, the closure is expected to last for around 2 weeks.

During the work, the Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom locations will continue to operate as normal.

    For how nice the exterior is, it's a shame how claustrophobic it is on the inside. Guess there's not much room to play with given how small the store is.

    Will they update the Speedway to include more animatronics?

    It likely happened due to a water main break that happened in their store on October 28. I went there that day to fill up my rental car before returning it and they were mopping up and they told me a pipe had burst. I'm sure there was quite a bit of damage inside.
