The construction walls for what is speculated to be the building site for the new Disney Vacation Club wing at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort have now moved onto the beach area. Work is moving very quickly in this area, and it looks like we could be seeing serious construction beginning very soon. According to
previously released timescales, we should be expecting to see considerable vertical construction as soon as December of this year. You can read more about the
plans for the new wing here.
Disney have not yet officially confirmed the existence of the DVC project at the Grand Floridian, but this would be consistent with the announcement of the nearby Bay Lake Tower only when the building was nearing completion.
