The new look lobby at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is nearing completion.
The construction walls surrounding the central area have been removed and replaced with curtains. Some handy gaps in the curtains give passing guests a look at the progress below, and as you can see from the photos, it looks nearly complete.
As we have known from the original concept art, the central planter and water feature has been removed to make a very open area. A small water feature sits in the center of the lobby, with some new overhead hanging decoration.
Also new is the check in desk area, with new decor, but still in the original location.
