Disney has now confirmed to various news outlets that Disney Vacation Club villas are now under construction at Disney's Polynesian Resort.
The long rumored addition is expected to be completed in 2015, although the exact makeup of the project and the scale of the additions has not been made public. Disney has said that along with the villas there will be improvements to the existing areas of the resort.
