French Quarter closing for extended period

Oct 24, 2001 in "Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter"

Various Travel agencies are reporting that Disney has announced that Port Orleans-French Quarter will be closing after 3 November 2001, with no scheduled re-opening date.

Guests will be diverted to one of the other moderate resorts.

This information has not yet been confirmed by Disney at this time.
