We stayed in the original cabins with the 4 of us for a long weekend, and while we will stay here at some time since the points are low, it would only be for the 2 of us for a short trip. We would never think of bringing our kids and their DWs (who are in their 30's) for a longer stay. We didn't find a need for a golf cart as we like walking and the bus stops are only a short walk. We always took the boat to MK.

I’m interested n what is better. Honestly. 😊 I’ve not stayed in them before and likely won’t. We don’t like driving whilst onsite, but these really need you to unless you rent a golf buggy. The cabins don’t suit me but I’m still interested in others’ opinions.

They’re not perfect you have some valid points, but still better than previous version (in my opinion).

In what way? Let me summarise my issues: - still has bunk beds in with the “master bed” * - bathroom on the other side of the cabin, not convenient for anyone - no tub # - not enough seating round the table for 6 people - TV can’t be watched from the sofa - TV on wall directly next to the bunk beds - the Murphy bed is bang up close to the TV (looks like anyone getting out of the bed on that side would crack their head on the edge of the TV) * I will accept this is no worse than before. The bedroom is similar to the old one but with more space. # some will be fine with a walk-in shower, but those with young kids (or kids with sensory needs) will find it a big negative On the plus side, the kitchen is a whole lot better.

Cabins is a stretch

We can disagree on the theming but these cabins are 1000% more user friendly.

A young, college educated designer. I'm guessing.

Who starts a walkthrough of a room by going straight to the dishwasher? Really didn’t like the tour of the cabin, everything was close up. They didn’t pan out at all for a wider view. Apart from that, who on earth decided that painting a cabin blue fitted the FW setting? I hadn’t realised they were all varying colours. ☹️

Here now. They opened the 100 loop today to traffic. Cabin tours were also started today. While we didn’t make it for a tour, the curtains were open and I peeked in.

2200, 2300, and 2500 are currently closed.

We arrive next week, does anyone know which cabin loops are currently unavailable due to the DVC construction?

DisneyFanatic12Apr 13, 2024

Tons of the new cabins are going up in the 2300, 2500 loops (I believe those are the loops). Those aren’t nearly as complete as the ones near Pioneer Hall, however.
