The 15th annual Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic is set to return on November 15 and 16, 2024, featuring a record number of dishes and beverages, along with new interactive seminars.
This year's event will run from 5:30 to 9:30 pm on both nights, the longest duration in its history, allowing guests more time to explore the variety of offerings.
Expanded Culinary Offerings
The 2024 Food & Wine Classic will showcase 45 dishes, the most ever featured at the event. New menu items include a range of dishes that reflect the diverse culinary expertise of the resort's restaurants. Notable new additions are:
- Baja Style Fish Taco: A creation from Rosa Mexicano featuring shaved cabbage, pico de gallo, Rosa Mexicano white sauce, and a corn tortilla.
- Red Wine Braised Beef Short Rib: Offered by Il Mulino, this dish comes with browned butter potato gnocchi, porcini mushroom purée, pecorino romano, fennel, and parsley salad.
- Korean "No Mayo" Salad: From Cabana Bar and Beach Club, this salad includes rice noodles, bean sprouts, cucumber, kimchi, cashew, and bibim.
- Hand-Made Harissa Spiced Lamb Sausage: A dish from Amare, served with bulgar wheat, smoked yogurt, and fennel-onion salad.
- Slow Roasted Pernil: A specialty of the For the Love of Florida area, featuring garlic and sour orange marinated pork with white rice, black beans, sweet plantains, and fresh lime.
Returning favorites will also be available, such as Shula's Steak House's Roasted Linz Heritage Black Angus Beef Tenderloin, Rosa Mexicano's Signature Classic Guacamole en Molcajete, and Kimonos' Dragon Roll.
New dessert options have been added to the lineup, including Caramel Banana Crème Brûlée, Nougat Rum Dark Chocolate Mousse, Pistachio Raspberry Mousse, and Mandarin Cream Beignet.
New and Returning Seminars
In addition to the expanded food and beverage offerings, the event will introduce two new seminars:
- Beer Here!: This seminar will guide guests through Florida's craft beer scene, showcasing the state's diverse and vibrant brewing culture.
- Salud! A Journey Through Spain: Attendees will learn about Spain's rich winemaking traditions, including tips on pairing wines with food.
The popular Craft Cocktails seminar will return, offering insights into the components of a great cocktail and how to recreate them at home.
All seminars will take place at the Swan Reserve on Saturday, November 16 from 4:30–5:30 pm, just prior to the outdoor festival, and are $85 per person, excluding tax.
