Celebrate Earth Day at Disney's Animal Kingdom with Party for the Planet from this weekend

Disney's Animal Kingdom will be celebrating Earth Day with Party for the Planet beginning this weekend.

From April 17 to 23, you can meet Jimmy Cricket at Rafiki's Planet Watch.

Animal Kingdom's creative leader Imagineer Joe Rohde will be book signing at Discovery Trading Company on April 22, from 1pm to 2pm. Wristbands for the meet will be distributed with a book purchase at Discovery Trading Company.

Special interactive activities will be available throughout the park, along with celebration cupcakes for purchase at Kusafiri Coffee Shop in Africa.

In the few instances I've seen Joe Rohde in a fan setting he's been engaging and straight forward. As far as I can tell he's the last person from the company to go on record about the Yeti when at the 2013 D23 Expo he said that he vows to fix it.
