A physical “Times Guide” has recently returned to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, marking the first reappearance of printed daily entertainment listings at any Walt Disney World theme park since they were discontinued during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now branded as the “Experience Guide,” this new version includes updated showtimes, character greeting windows, and atmosphere entertainment schedules. Guests can find information on offerings like the Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!, and newer entertainment such as Beats and Strings and Eco-Rhythmics. The guide also lists animal trails, Rafiki’s Planet Watch hours, and Wilderness Explorers locations.
- This printed guide is currently exclusive to Animal Kingdom. No similar handout is currently offered at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, or Hollywood Studios.
- The layout includes sections for atmosphere entertainment, shows, character greetings, and animal experiences.
- Schedules are current as of April 2025 and reflect weekday variations for some performers.
The return of a physical schedule is a shift from the park’s recent reliance on the My Disney Experience app. Some guests have continued to request printed options, especially for group planning or for those who prefer not to use mobile devices throughout the day.
It remains to be seen whether the “Experience Guide” format will expand to other parks or remain unique to Animal Kingdom. For now, it offers a low-tech but useful option for staying on top of entertainment during your visit.
