After being closed for several days due to cold weather in Central Florida, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park has reopened to guests today.

The Blizzard Beach closure began on January 20 as cold and wet weather moved into the Walt Disney World theme park areas, and the reopening date was pushed back multiple times as the chilly conditions persisted.

Weather Forecast for Blizzard Beach Today

  • Morning: Cool and sunny, temperatures around 64°F
  • Afternoon: High of 74°F, with partly cloudy skies

Great, I was planning on using the free perk on Thursday, hopefully since it’s supposed somewhat chilly it won’t be too busy?

This is why we need both parks open.

Blizzard Beach has reached a phased closure and is only accepting WDW resort guests at this time. The parking lot is also at capacity and guests are being redirected to park at DAK.

Great perk for check in days! Haha. That perk is a joke.

It's Blizzard beach --it's supposed to be cold --this is discrimination against the polar bear club(sarcasm)
