The center of Epcot is about to undergo some big changes, resulting in the closure of the majority of the locations around the Fountain of Nations.
Here is a summary of all the closures and temporary relocations.
The Fountain of Nations, Innoventions East, Colortopia and Nanooze Break are scheduled to close on September 8, 2019.
Electric Umbrella is scheduled to close this winter.
Mouse Gear will move to a temporary home this winter while its current location is reimagined.
Fountain View featuring Starbucks will be relocated to a temporary location in late Fall.
Art of Disney will operate temporarily from a new location while refurbishment is underway. Heritage Manor will later become the new home for Art of Disney offerings.
Pin Central will operate temporarily from a new location while refurbishment is underway. The Camera Center will close this fall to become a new home for Pin Central.
Club Cool will close, and Disney has said via Twitter that it will relocated but did not provide further information.
Character Spot will close on September 8, with characters relocating as follows:
- Minnie Mouse will move to the World Showcase Gazebo.
- Daisy Duck will move to the American Adventure.
- Mickey and Goofy in a temporary Innoventions West area, but with an all new location to be in the Imagination! pavilion.
- The location for Joy is still to be determined.
- No mention of Baymax has been made.
