The Azalea Trail Maids join a special Easter pre-parade this weekend at the Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom will host a special Easter pre-parade before Festival of Fantasy Parade this weekend featuring the Azalea Trail Maids.

The pre-parade will begin at 11:45am and 2:45pm on both Saturday and Sunday (April 4 and 5 2015), with the Azalea Trail Maids and a host of Disney characters, joined by Mr and Mrs Easter Bunny.

Insightful point you shared, and I never thought of that. (Too bad they couldn't tape the parade a few days prior to Easter, when the crowds aren't quite as large, and show it on TV on Easter Day.) Then, they could still have the parade again on Easter Day, for the park guests who traveled to MK specifically to see the parade "live". Oh well, just my wishful thinking only . . .

I don't think it was as much as a ratings issue as it was thst Easter has become such a busy day that the overall set up would have caused even more congestion on a congested day.

I also miss the WDW Easter Parade on TV. It seems to be popular with many people. I would think that, at least, the Disney Channel would want to show it.

e Every year i think 'this is the year they'll introduce an easter parade again'... and every year we just get the Azalea girls. I'll just keep watching Tokyo's on Youtube!
