New 'Encanto' entertainment experience coming to Walt Disney World

Disney has put out a casting notice for a new limited-time 'Encanto' experience coming to Walt Disney World.

Disney has yet to announce a new Encanto experience, so this casting appears to be for an unannounced project. Here is the notice in full:

Disney Live Entertainment is accepting local talent Host submissions for a new experience celebrating Disney’s animated film, Encanto. This new limited-time offering will be performed live at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.

SYNOPSIS:
Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto,” tells the tale of Mirabel and her extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who are hidden in the mountains of Colombia in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto. Join Maribel, and friends in a festive celebration!

Seeking:
Two male or female-presenting hosts who sing, demonstrate exceptional storytelling, and, most importantly, can captivate the audience with their infectious and high-energy personalities. These hosts should be immediately likable and accessible with a comedic flair. Bilingual skills are a plus!

The ideal thing would be to rotate "regular" Epcot entertainment here from time to time in addition to their usual locations -- Voices of Liberty (US), Mariachi Cobre (Mexico), Matsuriza (Japan), Command Performance (UK), Les Raftsmen (Canada), JAMMitors, etc. Use "A" and "B" rotations for the usual locations and this location if they have to.

And where there's less to do. I'd love to do this with my kids at Hollywood Studios or AK when we have downtime in a seated theater.

The theme doesn’t fit and the IP doesn’t fit. Unless the park is renamed IPCOT. Waste of time and money that could and should have been spent where it was really needed (SSE, Imag, Seas, LWTL etc )

DL does a big thing with Coco surrounding El Día de Muertos. At EPCOT, they have a very very pared down celebration by the Mexico pavilion. It would be nice to see that and Mariche Cobre take over that flex space and make it bigger.

You claimed something doesn't fit. So, I was asking *you*, what would fit. Your answer seems to say there is nothing that they would put on that stage that would satisfy you in saying that it fits. Is that correct?

It’s a temporary show, so I’m not against it being there. I like that it’s a flex space for things like this. Maybe a test for an outdoor show in the AK expansion?

All they gave to do down the line is expand them..I'd give it another 6 years or so when those event booths become permanent. So, for those who are curious...Here's the festival rundown in a year.
