i'm going to keepm this short and sweet do it!!!!! the only bad thing i can thinkm of is that the water is freezing. other than that it's a must do.
This is alot of fun, but its not for the skiddish. There are real fish, sharks, and coral down there that just make the scenery beautiful! A peice of advice, the water is freezing! It's like ice in there! I say do this attraction on a hot afternoon when you really need to cool off. Even if you can't swim well, this is good for you. You can't paddle of kick in the water because it would upset the fish so you just have to wade over to the other side. You can also ask for a life vest if you need help floating. They also provide masks and snorkels that they wash after every use, you know because the snorkel tastes like hand sanitizer lol
I never actually got to experience this wonderful snorkeling opportunity because breathing in the mask is harder than it looks! You can't breath through your mouth perse because then you suck up water between where your lips meet. Also, the alleged "One-Size-Fits-All-Masks" are a scam. Smaller people should specifically ask for a kids mask and don't back down until the desk guy gives it to you! However, if you get the chance and can master the snorkel mask, I've heard it is an enlightening experience; you get to swim amongst coral and real fish - including small sharks! Do it if you can and early in the morning. As a final note, the water is icy because of the climate control. Allow yourself a moment to adjust before paddling out. Ask for a life jacket to help you float because you are not permitted to kick and must stroke VERY gently.
