Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party has sold out another date at Magic Kingdom—November 11, 2024.

This marks the second sold-out event for this year's holiday celebration, following the early sellout of the opening night on November 8. With the strong sales trend of the fully sold-out Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party earlier this year, we expect to see most nights of the Christmas party also sell out.

This separately ticketed event includes classic entertainment like Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, and Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration castle stage show. Guests can enjoy complimentary cookies and cocoa while exploring the fully decorated park and holiday-themed attractions.

Event dates include:

  • November 8 (sold out), 11 (sold out), 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
  • December 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20

Event tickets for 2024 cost $169 to $219 per ticket, while tickets for 2023 ranged from $159 to $199 per person.

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party—valid only for the following event nights:

  • November 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21 and 22
  • December 1, 3, and 5

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place from 7:00 pm to midnight.

Ticket holders will be admitted to Magic Kingdom park as early as 4:00 pm on the valid date of their ticket. These date-specific event tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or theme park reservation.

Some of the Christmas lights are already up in Dinoland. I would expect most of lights in Dinoland and lanterns in discovery island to be up by end of week.

11/8 and 11/11 makes a lot of sense selling out first. That's Veterans Day weekend. Veterans Day is Monday 11/11.

Studios and DAK often get their holiday decor installed earlier than MK, I would keep an eye out for that

Thanks all. I'll probably wear a Christmas hat and shirt on 11/1 just because. Other than that one day, no holiday trip this year.

Yes, they’ll do both in one night.

There's usually a yearly time lapse video Disney puts out to show that as they take down the Halloween deco, they're putting up Christmas all in the same night. If you got the cherry pickers and cranes out... might as well do it all in one night. It takes a second day to switch out all the live plantings. The rest of the parks and resorts follow over the course of the next week.

They take down Halloween decorations and put up Christmas decorations the same night? I thought there was always a day or two between those things, but I could be wrong.

Often times SOME decor goes up that night, but not all. It usually takes two nights.

Not likely on 11/1. They will be taking down Halloween decorations and since Christmas parties don't start until 11/8 and 11/9, I wouldn't expect to see any Christmas decorations until 3-4 days before that.

According to the Walt Disney World website, the next Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party that has now sold out is November 11.

Any decorations out on 11/1? I have Pixie Dust pass so won't be able to experience anything on 11/2, other than meandering Disney Springs a little bit. I'm checking out and going home that day.

Post-DE and Project Nugget, they use the 2 new side launchers adjacent to the center launcher to create the 5 gold rings (along with the 2 other actual perimeters). And as mentioned above, they did perimeters last year for regular guests during Christmas week. First time ever besides the July 4th, NYE, and special Wishes 40th fireworks.

Prim. Were used last Year for Christmas Week! First time I believe.

For those who have seen 8 pm MWCF during Christmas week, how does it look? I believe they don’t use the perimeters. Some gags like the “five gold rings” visual don’t work without perimeters. Are any fireworks added from the central launch point?
