What Was Announced at the Last Destination D23

Destination D23 2023 included major announcements such as a reimagined Test Track at EPCOT, early plans for Encanto- and Indiana Jones-themed additions to Animal Kingdom, and future expansion beyond Big Thunder Mountain at Magic Kingdom. Many fans expect 2025 to provide updates on those projects—and potentially new announcements.

For D23 Gold Members interested in attending, April 14 will be the first opportunity to secure access to this expanded fan event.

I fully expect there will be - it doesn't really get into any specifics of any panels planned for during the days yet, more the evening events In 2021 they had "Connections: A Look at the Future of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products" in 2023 they had "A Celebration of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" both were the first panel, Saturday morning and both led by Josh d'Amaro Looking for this, the full schedule didn't come out until within a month of the actual event

Excited for this one, thinking there will be a lot of unveiling of plans (Tropical Americas, Villains, Lakeside Lodge, etc.) As someone mentioned in another thread, fair chance (I hope) they kept back a Moana ride announcement for this event. I don’t keep up with the cruise lines as much but I think there’s plenty of room for announcements there as well. Really curious to see if anything semi concrete is announced for Villains. Restaurant, rides, layout, etc.

So maybe a stupid question, but is there going to be a mini parks panel session this year. Not expecting big new things but, at least updates of what is coming to WDW. I am sure they have more to announce, but I don't see a big Parks session/show in the main room announced yet. This would be a deciding factor in my attendance.

There will be lots of discussion on how Epic isn't hurting attendance. They'll brag about finally getting rid of Frontierland and all of the 'problematic' imagery associated with the American frontier west. There will be some fuss about creating another DVC hotel that looks surprisingly similar to a typical mid rise Marriot. There will now be an upcharge to ride the monorail and/or gondola transportation systems

$800 for high-end seating is only half of an unrestricted* annual pass, so it looks like they're showing some restraint in their pricing this year. /s Of course, that's after you paid at least $100 to be a Gold member (or $300 to be a Super-Gold member), and airfare, hotel, and food for the weekend... * Some restrictions apply. See Terms and Conditions for details...

It's secretly a plan to get their most dedicated fans to have one last ride on all the attractions since EU has forced WDW to completely shut down.
