Disney announced this past week that Genie+ price rises are coming into effect, and we have already seen two increases in just a few days.
Originally priced at $15 per person per day, Disney Genie+ lept to $20 on October 12, and today has increased further to $22. The new pricing model varies by date, with guests only able to find out pricing at 7am on the day of a visit.
In addition to Genie+ hitting $22, an Individual Lightning Lane purchase at Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has also hit $22 per person today.
For now, $22 is expected to be Walt Disney World's upper ceiling, although Disneyland in California has already reached $25 per person per day.
Disney Genie+ is a purchase option within the Disney Genie service that makes the former FastPass line available at select attractions, now called Lightning Lane. Certain headline attractions are not part of Genie+, and Lightning Lane access at those attractions requires an Individual Attraction purchase which varies in prices.
