Genie+ at Walt Disney World has reached a two-week high today and will cost as much as $27 per person for Magic Kingdom and the multi-park option.

Disney Genie+ had an uncharacteristically steady pricing model over the last two weeks, with the multi-park option holding steady at $25 for eleven consecutive days. All Genie+ options took a dip heading into the weekend but have bounced back today to the highest price in two weeks.

Today, multi-park Genie+ and Magic Kingdom cost $27 (a rise of $5 from yesterday), Disney's Animal Kingdom $17 (+$2), Disney's Hollywood Studios $24 (+$3), and EPCOT $19 (+$2).

Like Genie+, Lightning Lane pricing has remained unusually stable over the last two weeks, with pricing unchanged for twelve consecutive days, a dip this weekend, and back to the pre-weekend pricing today.

AVATAR Flight of Passage is currently $14, Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind $15, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train $11, Rise of the Resistance $22, and TRON Lightcycle Run $20.

You can follow Walt Disney World Genie+ and Lightning Lane pricing on our at-a-glance listing, which includes 14 days of historical pricing and trend indicators.

Disney Genie+ is a purchase option within the Disney Genie service that makes the former FastPass line available at select attractions, now called Lightning Lane. Certain headline attractions are not part of Genie+, and Lightning Lane access at those attractions requires an Individual Attraction purchase which varies in price. Learn more about Genie+.

Can't remember how my mom did it when back in the day in the 1970s we has a stainless steel lid container outside our front door to our house. The milkman delivered 6 to 8 glass bottles of milk then at the end of the week we left the empty bottles in the container for pick up.

Disney constantly has discounts going. I know people who went just because of the ticket deal they had over the summer.

I think in decades past it was just framed differently. The highest price point was the “regular” price while anything else was a “sale” (and of course things go on sale all the time, and some things were almost always on sale.)

The difference of course is when “demand is low”, Disney dramatically reduces the quality of the experience while not reducing prices (less entertainment, less hours, less staffing, less dining options, reduced attraction capacity, etc., etc). It would be like the airline making you sit on a milk crate, load your own baggage, serve your own drinks, and making five connections to get there because “demand is low”.

Don't airlines raise prices but also have great deals at times unlike Disney raise prices at high demand but rarely have great deals when demand is low

Is this honestly a serious post?

Every single one of them. That’s where this artificial inflation is coming from across the board.

I see you don’t understand what price gouging means…

People buy Lightning Lane passes so they don't have to stand in long lines.

Why would anyone purchase an expensive Lightning lane pass when they are already being priced gouged for daily tickets and annuals passes. Do you realize the greedy Disney is also raising these prices also. If you plan on ever going to Disney please become good friends with people that have money because Disney doesn't care a Rat's back side about you.

This presumes that people are actually buying the cake.

Yup, Which makes it just another price increase.

Yeah, but attendance is down and no one goes there any more.
