Walt Disney World has announced price increases for one-day, one-park tickets, set to take effect for the busy months of November and December 2025.

The price adjustments reflect Disney's ongoing demand-based pricing model, with the highest increases impacting Magic Kingdom, where a one-day ticket will reach $199 on select peak days—$10 more than in 2024.

The price for a one-day, one-park ticket varies by park, with Magic Kingdom seeing the steepest hikes. Here's how the pricing now breaks down:

  • Disney's Animal Kingdom: $119–$174
  • EPCOT: $129–$194
  • Disney's Hollywood Studios: $139–$194
  • Magic Kingdom: $144–$199

The Magic Kingdom's $199 ticket will apply to peak holiday dates and other high-demand periods, such as New Year's Eve.

Comparison: December 31, 2025 vs. December 31, 2024

Looking ahead to one of the most popular dates at Walt Disney World, New Year's Eve, here is a comparison of ticket prices for December 31, 2025, versus December 31, 2024:

  • Magic Kingdom: $199 (2025) / $189 (2024)
  • EPCOT: $194 (2025) / $179 (2024)
  • Disney's Hollywood Studios: $194 (2025) / $184 (2024)
  • Disney's Animal Kingdom: $174 (2025) / $164 (2024)

The updates to single-day ticket pricing come alongside increases to Walt Disney World Annual Passes, which have risen as much as $100.

If I'm spending $700 a day for a vacation, it's gonna be in the presidential suite at a luxury all-inclusive in the Caribbean, never for a theme park.

Psst. They already have BJ's trailers on site. 😉 You're welcome. 😜

Modern problems require modern solutions!

Who knows with inflation how much a peanut butter and jelly sandwich will be? Totally out of my league!!! I've put an order in with Costco to ship several crates to a storage facility I'm renting in Orlando.

Just don't buy an annual pass, you freeloading deplorable.

HauntedPirateOct 28, 2024

$611 for a day at MK over Christmas week using a 7-day Park Hopper (and dividing the price amongst 7 days) and then adding the LLPP at what will likely be the highest price point (plus tax). Just to get into the park and have 1 LL entry for whatever rides you're able to do that day.

MisterPenguinOct 28, 2024

Wow, that's a lot. I better go now and go often. I can't afford not to!!!

Well if you add the Lightning Lane Premiere pass to a standard ticket you can essentially be paying $700/day...There is nothing that is new or cool enough in any of the parks for the next 3+ years that would get me to pay that kind of price. Certainly none of the current offerings... Not sure what the current realistic date for the Animal Kingdom additions is currently sitting at, but can't imagine it will truly open before 2027-8 Certainly the Carsland Project and Villains section won't open before 2028-9... So Maybe EPIC will have some very good years to kick off the park... As the first new park in decades, it will definitely be busy...especially if it really turns out to be amazing.

Yep. "$1000/person for a single day ticket is something we're aiming for!" - Josh D'Amaro. Maybe. ;)

MisterPenguinOct 28, 2024

That would be a four digit number, right?

HauntedPirateOct 28, 2024

MVMCP smashed through the $200 barrier this year at the top end, with 3 dates being priced at $209/person and 2 dates at $219/person after holding at $199/person on the high side the previous 2 years. Plus, the number of $199/person events has gone up: 2 in 2022 3 in 2023 8 in 2024 Once something breaks a psychological barrier, like $100/ticket, there are few similar barriers until you reach the next additional digit.

Price gouging only occurs on necessities. WDW is NOT a necessity.

Animaniac93-98Oct 26, 2024

That $199 ticket is already over $200 after tax No, Disney doesn't get or charge that 6.5%, but the guest pays it regardless. I think once you get over $150, $175 a day, $200+ isn't a shocker. Parties and such have been close to that before.

I remember this discussion when it was approaching $100. These numbers are only taboo until they pass them and then suddenly, they're not anymore.
