Tables in Wonderland can now take advantage of the recently announced 30% discount for Annual Passholders and DVC Members at select resort restaurants.

An important difference with the Tables in Wonderland discount vs the Passholder discount is that it also applies to alcoholic beverages.

There is now a 30 percent discount (up from 20%) on regular price food and beverages when dining during the dinner meal period before 6:30pm or after 8:30pm at the following locations through September 30 2017:

  • Jiko at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
  • Flying Fish at Disney's BoardWalk Resort
  • The Wave...of American Flavors at Disney's Contemporary Resort
  • Citricos at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
  • The Grand Floridian Café at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
  • Olivia's Cafe at Disney's Old Key West Resort
  • Boatwright's Dining Hall at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside
  • The Turf Club Bar & Grill at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
  • Artist Point at Disney's Wilderness Lodge
  • Captain's Grill at Disney's Yacht Club Resort

30% off alcohol at Disney! We'll be there next weekend.

I guess they are only targeting the resort restaurants whose Dis Dining resies are languishing. I'm seeing 2nd tier sit-down restaurants vs the well known at same resort location (Wave), and distant/outlier locations (WL, AKL, SS) that made the list. Maybe WDW's push for more on property dining is finally reaching a prelim over-saturation stage, or pricing & low attendance is taking its toll.

I can confirm both: my question early on this discount and this new information. We just did Jiko this past Friday and received 30% off food and alcohol :) We did not need to use TIW or split the check (one check food at 30% and one check alcohol 20%.) And they added the 18% gratuity automatically, though we added a lot to that because of fabulous service at Jiko.

As of a couple of days ago, TiW is also increased to 30%, at least at Jiko (according to our server) - so I would speculate possibly at the other referenced properties as well - can anyone confirm?

I bought TIW last year before they announced all these discounts on the AP - just for that reason, I will not renew my TIW until they take away these AP discounts. The valet parking was a nice perk but we only used it 2-3 times when the lots were full where we were dining (walking doesn't kill us) and the alcohol discount is nice but its usually just one drink I am buying (although it does save on Lapu-Lapus at the Tambu Lounge). I'll save a bit of $$ an use my benefits through the end of the 13 months but then it is AP discount on the limited times we dine on property.

We have our anniversary dinner booked at Jiko this Sunday night. I'll try that!

You're right! I should have used 'included'. Nothing is free. :) That goes for the parking too.

They might not be able to apply more than one discount to a check (no idea either way). Just split the bill if they won't do it on one check.

Let's be honest. Photopass isn't a "free" perk of Gold. There's a reason why the Gold price is jacked up.

I agree. Anyone that thinks Disney would not be operating at a profit even at 30% off is out of touch what a normal night out costs. They will be just fine. I for one am glad to see that their efforts to expand profit margins may finally be hurting them. I am not sure why management forgets that most passholders are florida residents and Disney should know what we can and cannot afford.

This year I've found the APs to be a pretty good value. I didn't need to buy TiW and the 20% off merchandise on the shop parks app was great for the Pandora jewelry my wife likes and the photopass perk for us worked even when we were at Aulani and Disneyland (maybe a glitch). I'd love it if they would extend the perks into next year!

You're making my head hurt. Disney restaurants have no problem turning a profit. This is a move to drive AP holders and DVC members to Resorts as they often avoid WDW in the summer. A chicken dish that was $39 and is now $27 will still make money.
