Bob Iger says that demand for the Disney Premier Passport does not have enough interest to justify its existence.
Former CEO Bob Chapek said in 2022 that he would look into the possibility of returning the pass.
Introduced in 2010, The Disney Premier Passport came out of a request to then CEO Bob Iger during a previous shareholder meeting. The Premier Pass gave admission to most gated experiences at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. It was priced at more than $2000 at the time of its ending.
The pass was discontinued alongside the removal of Disneyland Resort's annual pass program as the reopening of the resort from the COVID-19 shutdown.
Iger made the comment during a question and answer session at today's Walt Disney Company shareholder meeting.
