As Disney's theme parks say goodbye to face coverings, the company is moving to offload its stock of masks featuring its character designs.

Disney began selling face masks in April 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic took hold, and it became clear that Walt Disney World would be reopening with a requirement for guests to wear masks. Initial pre-orders quickly sold out, and delivery times slipped to a couple of months.
As part of the product launch in 2020, Disney donated one million cloth face masks for children and families in underserved and vulnerable communities across the U.S. The company also donated $1million in profits from the sales in the U.S. of Disney's cloth face masks to Medshare.
As of June 15 2021, Disney no longer requires masks to be worn at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels and theme parks for guests who are fully vaccinated. Face coverings are still be required for all Guests on Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner.
