The Swan is a great hotel in a great location. We stayed there during the week between Christmas and New Years and even though it was very busy the Swan was a nice place to come back to and relax. It never seemed busy and loud like Dolphin did. The beds were great!! The only thing the hotel needs is a place like Picabu like at Dolphin. You could never get a cold pop unless you walked to Dolphin or you were lucky and the little bar was open. Even though you share Disney transport it didn\'t take long to get anywhere and we found seats almost every time. We\'d definately stay again!
Have stayed here 5 times, once in the Lodge itself and 4 times in the Villas. (One bedroom and Two bedroom suites). Room sizes are more than adequate, i.e. not small!. Theming is great, service is great. If you have never stayed here be sure to take the guided tour of the lobby.
Check in took forever....not enough CM\'s working the front desk for the amount of people in line. To the CM\'s credit, the natives were restless that day, and I saw 2 CMs in particular maintain their cool in the face of EXTREMELY rude guests. Had to return to front dest on 3 different occaisions due to room keys not working.....was a looooooong walk to main hall. Food court was adequate. On a BIG positive, my daughter LOVED the theming and the swimming pool. The main pool was pretty crowded, though. Rooms are TINY! We had 5 adults and 2 children in our party with 2 adjoining rooms and it still felt cramped. The beds were as hard as rocks, as were the pillows. Apparently, we were there during \"bug mating season\". There were THOUSANDS of bugs flying around stuck together. They were EVERYWHERE and on everything! Again, it\'s not the Polynesian , Contemporary or any other deluxe resort. But, if you are on a TIGHT budget and have small kids that would love the larger than life decor, stay at one of the All-Stars.
The convenience that the CR offers is the main reason we love it. Right on the monorail line, it offers easy access to the MK and Epcot, as well as Grand Floridian and Poly for meals. The newly remodeled rooms have been given a very classy feel, as opposed to the old \\\"tacky\\\" and \\\"futuristic\\\" feel. We stay there every time my family goes to WDW. Check in took very little time and the service was good. Housekeeping did a fine job as well. The pool area, while not themed, is good for my children, particularly the water slide. Suites at CR offer excellent ameneties and AMPLE room. We love it!
This is a beautiful, well-run hotel in the heart of Disney. If you can afford it, this one is my favorite. It\'s not easy springing nearly $300 per night!
For my second trip to WDW, my husband and I stayed at All Star Movies Resort because we were on a budget. We were pleased with the fun factor at this hotel. We stayed in the Toy Story section and it was a close walk to the food court and buses. The bus service is awesome at WDW and even though these hotels are not right next to a resort, it is a quick ride to the park of your choice. My only negative comment about this resort was the noise. We went in October and the crowds were not huge, but the hotel rooms were not insulated very well. They rooms are open the outside walk ways and we were woken up several times in the night by kids running out side our door screaming; and we were on the top floor. Very annoying. Overall it is a fun place to stay for the money.
Had to save up to stay here! The room was $300+ - and we could only justify a one night stay since we live 2-1/2 hours away. Looking over the railing inside the hotel and watching the monorails travel through was special. We had a MK view and I took wonderful pictures of MK castle and Space Mountain. We watched Wishes from our room - nothing can beat watching the fireworks with a cooler of beer! When we left MK we got on the Ferry and watched the Light Parade from the ferry. It actually stopped our trip and we idled there with the Parade going past. Also the room was fantastic - the beds were more comfortable than what we have at home! There was construction on my floor by the elevators (June 2006) but we couldn\'t hear it in the room. The construction workers were polite and obviously trying to be respectful. The hotel bar was a little small and it was packed, but the servers were able to get us our drinks very quickly, and the view from the bar is really nice. I got a kick out of having our own private monorail take us to the parks. Yeah it was a lot of money and my friends were really shocked that we paid all that for just one night, but what a night it was!
We just got back and were disappointed. We were able to get connecting rooms and King bed, but the king room had been smoked in. It was disgusting. After first complaint, they brought air freshner and a air machine. The next day, I complained, nicely, and they changed all the linens and shampooed the rug. (Bathroom floor was moldy too)It was much better after the linen changes. We would have liked to change rooms, but nothing was available I was told. CN at food court not very personable, but check in was wonderful.
My family and I (4 adults) stayed at the Swan for my parents\' 44th wedding anniversary from October 6 to 7, 2006. We were on the 10th floor (Starwood Preferred Guest Level) in a Courtyard View room. I signed up for the Starwood Preferred Guest status on Starwood hotels website before we left, gave reservations my Starwood Preferred Guest\\\'s number, and mentioned my parents\' anniversary. I also called Swan reservations mid-day 4 days prior to arrival to request a view of the Dolphin. I expected to get a partial view with a Courtyard View-level room. To our surprise, we got a full view of the Dolphin (dead center) with a partial view of Animal Kingdom (Everest) to our left and could see the fireworks on Friday night from what must have been the Magic Kingdom Not-So-Scary Halloween party to our right, just behind the Dolphin. The view was the best thing about our stay. The room decor was nice, not spectacular, the beds were very pretty and comfortable to all of us (even though 2 of us have back problems.) The hallway had a chemical smell like a new home perm. Luckily, the room did not smell. The bathroom was much smaller than I expected. (The door almost touched the toilet when you opened it.) There were two sinks -- one outside bathroom -- but they only put one hand soap in the room. The placement of shelves in the closet really limited space to hang clothes, but would probably be fine for 2 adults/2 small kids. The towels were placed on a rack in the shower. You had to remove all towels to take a shower, and there was no good place to put them. We had requested foam pillows and non-down comforters when the reservations were made because two of us are allergic to down feathers. The down comforter and pillows were there when we arrived and there when we left. Luckily we took our pillows with us, so we did not bother to make a second request for foam ones while there. We also requested a refrigerator, and when we arrived at 5:00 p.m., it was still in the hallway outside our door. It took a while to get it cold when it was finally plugged in, so if you are depending on it to immediately transfer medications into, I guess you need to tell them this when you make reservations. We ate at Gulliver\\\'s the first night. The mahi mahi was dry. The shrimp was tasteless. The salmon and desserts were good, and they did have a children\\\'s food bar. The wait staff was friendly, and the kids around us were enjoying visits from Timon and Rafiki. The brick hallway to the restaurant had what looked like water stains on it. There was also food on the floor under our table, and they didn\\\'t seem that busy when we arrived, so I was surprised at this. For the money, we prefer the Cape May clam bake buffet at the Beach Club, which has more variety for kids and adults and was cheaper last time we ate there- end of last year. However, it has no Disney characters. The Swan pool area was incredible, and the kids staying there seemed to really love it. There were more secluded areas for adults around the pool, too, including at least 2 hot tubs and some hammocks by the lap pools. The boat to Epcot and the bus to the Magic Kingdom were very convenient. Overall, I enjoyed our stay. However, I don\\\'t know if I would spend the money to stay here again.
We arrived at the GF on 9/17 stayed for a week and loved it! This was our fourth time at GF. We have also stayed at the Contemporary which I love but does not compare to GF in luxury at all. We stayed in the Sugar Loaf concierge bldg and the staff was terrific! Ready and willing to assist us with anything! Mousekeeping was exceptional no matter what time we came back to our room for afternoon naps, to swim etc the room was made up. I requested turn down service to be between 7-8pm as we have young kids and it was done promplty each night. The selection of snacks and cordials in the concierge lounge was excellent as well...always grabbed a drink or a little snack when going to of from our room. There was also no noise to be heard..I read reviews in the past about the noise level but we had no problems at all..and our littlest one has ears of a bat! Our kids loved the beach pool with the waterslide and waterfall.. and while it may not be as elaborately themed as say, carribean beach, they didn\\\\\\\'t care because we also did waterparks. Loved that the other pool was 24 hours! Spa is fantastic..you can have your massage at the poolside cabana!! exceptional resturants, great shops...M Mouse Mercantile has it all, A very nice room service menu (24 hours). I would never stay anywhere else. Downside: It is very expensive and I have to wonder with all the resturants and kids activities they offer (tea with alice, princess tea party) if during the peak season the place may be mobbed! It is very congested near the entrance 1900 Park Fare and the GF Cafe..even in the off season, you have to fight your way thru to get to the doors. Also nice, when we checked in at 9am..our romm was READY!
Our first visit to POP CENTURY was in May of 2005. The level of service was so wonderful, that we were very surprised when we returned in May of 2006 to find that the service level had dropped considerably. It started at check in. The person behind the desk operated in almost a robotic fashion, though she did tell us our room was ready (even though it wasn\'t check-in time yet) which was a huge relief since we had driven through from NJ. We unloaded everything from the car, got it to the room, and discovered the room hadn\'t been cleaned from the previous occupants. After two trips to the desk, we were told to come back in a few hours, even though all of our luggage was on a cart outside of our room! My husband found someone from the cleaning crew that was able to get the room cleaned ASAP thankfully, so she allowed us to put the luggage in the room and we went and walked around the property for a bit and got something to eat. We also noticed the employees at the food area were not as nice as they were the previous year either. One consistant thing that carried over was the lack of organization at the hamburger section. There are never any burgers ready and as the orders pile up, so do the people an nobody knows what food belongs to who. Another thing we noticed was how long trays and trash sat on the tables while many of the staff were standing around. Of course we will be returning to Disney in 2007, but I think we\'ll be trying a new hotel this time around.
This was our step-up resort from the All-Stars. a supposedly moderate resort. From the time we checked in I was really disappointed. We went as a couple and for weeks ahead we tried to define where we wanted to be situated & what type of room we had. They failed us on all counts. The real back-breaker were the beds. As a couple I didnt expect us to have to sleep in separate beds! 2000 rooms and only ones with King sized beds were ones you had to upgrade to? Come on you\'re taking the mickey! At this point the All Stars offers more than the Caribbean beach. When you complain to the staff you get a \"sorry...\" with no alternatives given to you and a shrug of the shoulders. Pathetic! Unfortunately for Disney I cannot recommend this resort to anyone unless you fancy having a sleepless night, cramped in a small double bed...or pay £140 to upgrade to a King size...which you don\'t have to do in the All Stars. The pool is smaller than the photo\'s of it make out, the bar area at the All Stars is better, the food court is MUCH better!, the staff aren\'t as helpful as the ALL Stars. Can you tell how disappointed we were??! I couldn\'t go back here and I couldnt recommend it. So sorry...we were really looking forward to it ALOT...but it disappointed in all aspects. This IS a moderate resort as far as cost goes...but in standards of service, help, comfort...it fails in all counts and is not as good as the All Stars. I am from the UK and Disney has to understand we pay alot to come here and enjoy ourselves. The expectation is high and to be let down so badly was terrible. Thank god for the staff at the parks, the rides, the overall atmosphere...we will come back but guess where I\'ll go??? Not here.
This is an impressive resort. For half the price of the Deluxe resorts, you get all of the amenities AND a food court! The only things you give up (compared with Deluxes) are about 70 sq. ft. in your room and no patio/balcony - your door opens directly to an exterior walkway. Our room was spotless and mousekeeping kept it that way all week. The food in the food court and at Boatwright\'s was excellent. We made use of the pool, the marina, the carriage rides, and the fishin\' hole. All, except the latter, were a lot of fun. We had five fishing poles with worms at 9:00am one morning, but caught nothing. We rented a car and had no problem getting a spot near our room at any hour. My 7 year old and 9 year old sons traded off sleeping in the trundle bed (the 11 year old was too tall). They found it comfortable enough. This resort is an EXCEPTIONAL value for your money.
My favorite resort at Disney. So relaxing and laid back. I love taking the boat to DTD.
Stayed there on several occasions, and it\\\'s our favorite of the All-Star resorts. The staff has been continuously helpful, and the theming is wonderful - especially for a lower end resort! I\'ll definitely be staying there in the future.
i stayed here 03/2004 the kids loved the themeing the pools and the staff was very nice. i liked the food in the food court also. although you had to stop at all the other all star resorts before you get to ASMovies it wasn\'t that big a deal. i think this is the best of the vakue resorts!
i went to pop in march 2006 we loved the hotel it self the rooms were great, the pool was great, it was nice to have a bus to take us back and forth to the parks that didn\'t stop at other hotels like at the all stars but i didn\'t like the food court. the food wasn\'t as good and i thought people working there were kind of rude. the food court at the all star movies was much better.the check in process was quick but the woman checking us in was not rude but just seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but there and didn\'t explan where my room was or what building she just handed me some papers and looked at the next person and said next. she didn\'t greet us or talk to us or anything. i love the value resorts but i will probably go back to ASMovies next time.
It\'s a little noisy, but I would rather stay in a Disney resort than stay off site.
It\'s an oasis from the typical bussle of a WDW vacation. We moved there after one day at POP Century where the mobs of rude, swearing teens, who were there for whatever competition, were reminding me that I could be having a greasy, overpriced burger in the caffeteria at work without having to deal with all these screaming kids. Anyway, the first moments on the Riverside property let me know that WHATEVER it cost more than POP, it was going to be worth it. The setting is just the perfect place to unwind from a day at the theme parks. I LOVED the pool and found it to never be too crowded. The hot tub was too chlorinated and I had to get out because it burned my lungs to breath, but my fiance enjoyed it. She did have to save some little girl who had slipped into the bubbly depths and didn\'t come out on her own. The paths are wonderful places to be and I really didn\'t want to leave when the vacation was over. Our next trip will definately be centered around this resort.
I was very disappointed with the choice of food in the food court for breakfast. The bread was thin and flabby. There was only one yogurt on offer. I tried to buy some cheese to make a sandwich. None was available in the delli, which is where you might expect to find cheese!!. The only cheese to be had was in the hamburger court and it was processed and sad looking. Even the assistant couldn\'t recommend it. This facility needs to be upgraded. Food quality, choice and price needs to be improved significantly. I would not stay at this resort again.
we have just got back and it was great here it took about 10 mins to check in. the busses was good the longest wait was about 15 mins to any of the parks but more 5 to 10 mins than the 15. the food was ok a bit more choice would have been good. the room was all ways clean. we had no problems and would go back again but i need to try more than 1 resort so we are going to pop next year to give that a try.
We stayed in the cabins at Ft. Wilderness in April 2006. The cabins are really adorable. It was very nice to have the extra room. They were well kept and very clean. The food at the Trails End buffet was good and inexpensive. If you stay here you must rent a golf cart. It is very time consuming trying to go anywhere, even with a cart. While the resort was nice and I don\'t have any complaints, I don\'t think I would stay here again. I just like the convenience of a hotel better. Also, the pools are not anything special.
Our first experience with Pop Century was before we even arrived at the hotel. Our reservations were to start a day after we had arrived in the Orlando area, and we had arranged the first night at a Days Inn, which fell through due to an error on their part. We called WDW Reservations and they got us a night early, not promising that we would be able to stay in the room. We arrived, parking was ample and the line wasn\'t bad at check in. The front desk person couldn\'t have been more courteous. She put us in a preferred room and arranged it so we didn\'t have to change rooms the following day. Before going to the room, we checked out the decor of the lobby area and the nostalgic items on display are worth the time it takes to walk the length of the lobby! As with most resorts, there is a food area (with many different stations for a great variety of food), a game room, and a gift shop. Also a wonderful ice cream shop with the best sundaes we\'ve ever had!! Our room was located to the right of the Hippy Dippy Pool on the ground level. It was a standard room with two full size beds, a desk, TV and bathroom with the vanity area on the outside. Nothing spectacular, but who spends that much time in the room when you are here? Being close to the pool wasn\'t an issue - once the doors were shut and the curtains drawn, it was quiet and comforatble. There are two other pools in different areas of the hotel. By the Hippy Dippy, there was a bar, a temporary tattoo station, and a laundry area, which I utilized before we left. The transportation area is well organized outside of the front lobby entrance, where you can catch a bus going to any Disney park. I also wanted to mention - do take a walk around the grounds and check out the larger than life displays of the Rubiks Cube, Big Wheel, etc.
We stayed here in January 2006 on our Honeymoon. We were hoping to stay in the mansions but instead were put in Alligator bayou building #28. We were pleasantly suprised how quiet and beautiful our surroundings were. We stayed in a king bed room and found it very clean. It had a small refrigerator, color tv w/cable, a table with 2 chairs and wired internet connection. The bed was comfortable. The chairs for the table did not allow for too much lounging as they were rustic wood and had no padding on the chairbacks. I would have added a small sofa for the room as the seating would be much appreciated. We never ate at Boatwrights, but frequented the food court daily for snacks or breakfast. Plenty of choices and hot. Our walk from the room to the food court was about 3-5 minutes long which was fine on a normal day, but I can see it being a drag if the clouds opened up for a florida rainstorm. The busses ran very quickly during our stay and we never had a full bus except when returning from park closings at night. Don\'t miss out on the boat ride to Downtown Disney. It\'s a nice little trip, but one you wouldn\'t use regularly as the busses seemed much faster. The resort staff was nice and informative, however we were not allowed to check our luggage at the desk for the flight home, even though our airline participated in the program (something about our last names not being the same). All in all it was a pleasant resort and we have already booked our next trip in january of 2007. And yes, we are staying in alligator bayou.
The theming is very loud and tacky and is not as nice as other Disney resorts. The pool is nice and spacious and great for kids. But if you are an adult and want relaxation, it\'s a bad idea. Service is almost non-existent at the value resorts. No room service, and there aren\'t any restaurants, just a caffeteria. Value are these resorts selling point. If you don\'t care about quality and you don\'t spend a lot of time in your room or at the hotel, the Disney value resorts are great. Facilities are rather poor in my opinion. Yes it\'s Disney, but they are only a step above staying at a run-of-the-mill motel. Kid Friendliness is another reason to consider these resorts. They are designed to appeal to families with lots of kids. Overall I find that the Disney value resorts are merely average. If you don\'t mind a loud and rather simple motel atmosphere they actually are good. But compared to Disney\'s other resorts they are at the bottom of the barrel.
I stayed hear about 7 years ago and it was my first trip to Disney. Since then I have stayed in the Movies and this year will be moving on to Riverside. My first impressions were good. A real fun atmosphere, clean, great pools and adequate eateries. The rooms are quite small if you are a family of four but as a two/threesome, they are perfectly adequate with 2 double beds, a pull out bed, table and chaire, en suite etc. I have never had to wait too long at check in but I hear it can get busy...kids are occupied with films showing in a mini cinema at check in though so no real stress here. The pool bar is relaxed and service was always good. Buses to parks are frequent enough but can get VERY busy! Be strong! I would recommend this resort if... 1. you were on a shoe string but wanted to be at the heart of the action 2. you spend little time at a resort because you are always out and about 3. you have kids who love having kids around them! I always felt happier at the Movies resort but Music has a real holiday fell about it which is lovely.
Our family of five adults stayed in a two-bedroom villa recently. We were in the Congress Park section, directly across the lake from Pleasure Island, which made for beautiful views at night. The master bedroom was beautiful, with a desk, an armchair, an armoir with television, and even a little bench under the mirror with extra storage. The interesting thing was the bathroom. From the bedroom, there are shutters that can be opened to see into the bath containing a whirlpool tub and vanity. Tucked next to the vanity was a doorway leading to a closet containing the safe. Across from the vanity, and next to the bedroom door (leading to the main room) was a door that opened into another room containing a very roomy standing shower and small vanity area. This room also had a door leading to the main room and a door leading to a 'toilet in a closet'. Yes, three doors in this room, one leading to the master bath/bed, one to the main living area, and one to the toilet. Made for some confusing late night potty-breaks. The over-under washer-dryer in our room was most welcome, as was the full size refridgerator and actuall glasses to use for soda! Popcorn (brought from home) was made in the microwave many times, and the full size electric stove and oven would have been nice if I wasn't on vacation lol. There was also a bench and small table, and a breakfast bar that had two chairs with it. Plenty of room for a few people to sit and eat a meal. The living area had a couch that pulled out into a surprisingly comfortable bed, an armoir with television, and an armchair. There was a balcony off this room with a wonderful view of the lake. The second bedroom had its own bath, with a double vanity and a shower/toilet room. There was also a HUGE closet that you could sleep another person or two in. Through a doorway (affording a little privacy) was the bedroom, with two queen size beds, an armoir with television, and a table with two chairs. All rooms had telephones and were beautifully decorated, with even a few Mickeys around! Everything was tasteful and elegant, but not over-Disney. We were also lucky enough to be located close to a quiet pool, which was beautiful: just a rectangle with rounded corners and cement frogs spitting water into the pool. There were ample chairs and umbrellas, and even a fair sized hot tub that could easily fit ten adults. There was a playground not too far off, but nothing at this pool that would occupy a child. Which, honestly, was nice at night for a group of adults. We were pretty close to a bus stop, and found the buses efficient and easy to use. There is even an Inter-Resort Service bus (which we quickly dubbed the 'IRS') and buses to DTD. We took the bus to DTD and it was really quick, but we had to wait almost 10 minutes for the bus. The walkway to DTD that ends up on the Marketplace side is well lit and easy to navigate. It took us approximately ten minutes to walk this path. The path from West Side to SSR was not as good. You must traverse a large well lit parking lot, but after that it gets much less well lit, and the path really seems to meander. This path seemed to take us forever to get home, but was more realistically just under 20 minutes, plus the time to get from Fultons through Pleasure Island and West Side. The Marketplace-side path seems much more direct. The food selection here was mediocre. There were the normal Disney breakfast staples (sampler platters, Mickey waffles) but lunch and dinner options seemed limited, especially with no full service eatery in the resort. Some of us hopped over to DTD for meals. However, there was a nice selection of frozen and dry goods, including 2-litre sodas for a mere $3.50 (we'd been paying $2.50 in the parks for a 20oz.), frozen dinners and snacks, and cereals. Not to mention Entemanns. Yum. There was also the Turf Club, which had a full bar that also served some pub-fare (burgers & fries) and had a big television, pool tables, and plenty of comfortable seating. Some of our party watched the Superbowl here and enjoyed the bar, food, and companionship of other guests, but were thankful for not having the level of noise and craziness that would be found at EPSN. Overall, this resort was wonderful for a bunch of adults. While the main pool is awesome, and there is an arcade, SSR seems to have little to offer children. Even the decor is much more muted than at other resorts (AKL, All Stars). Its close proximity to Downtown Disney and it's own golf course make it very appealing to adults, and also to older teens, but to cater to your children, another resort might be a better choice.
I have stayed at this resort 3 times and I absolutly love it!! Me and My mother make a yearly trip to WDW every may and we have stayed here everytime. Overall this resort is fantastic. Check in line can be long during midday/afternoon, but we have never waited longer than 15 minutes, and after you have been driving from Tennessee to Florida, the standing isnt so bad. The rooms/buildings are very close together, with the farthest building being Broadway and Country Fair. We have stayed in Broadway everytime and it is very quiet and peaceful. The walk to the bus stop/food court is maybe 3 minutes which is not bad. For a value resort with tons of children, it was very quiet. Everyone is very curtious and respectful. The rooms are not small for two adults, but I am sure would be somewhat cramped for a family of 5. Theming is GREAT and the resort is almost immaculate. The only downside in my opinion is the largest pool as you leave the food court. It is constantly full/crowded, even at 10pm. The smaller piano pool is also almost always crowded or full also. If you dont mind having tons of small children swimming around you, its great. With that said, the pool isnt a BIG part of my list of things I look for, so it really doesn't cause my opinion of this resort to go down. Also the bus stops are also very good and a bus is usually there within 10/15 minutes. I highly recommend this resort!!!
OK, let's get one thing straight. I have stayed in Movies three times. It's not cheap coming from London to stay at WDW and this is as cheap as it gets whilst still being at the centre of the action....but it is still expensive...just not by Disney standards. If you look past that, this resort is great. Clean, ample room, lovely pools, goo bus service (when working well of course) andreally close to Animal Kingdom, MGM and Blizzard Beach. I love the resort for its friendliness and even though you are in the cheapeast hotal in Disney, it still feels like a lot of effort has beeb made. There's a great buzz about the place and I would definitely recommend it to anyone worried about money. BUT, if you get a pay rise, try another resort. I am staying at Riverside next year...hope it's even better! ENJOY!
My two adult daughters and I stayed here in May of 2005. This resort is amazing in it's attention to detail. We spent a week here and never saw all of it. The rooms are minimal in size (We knew this beforehand), but it met all of our needs. The in-room safe held my laptop and other valuables. The bathroom was sufficient and the separate washroon area was a nice touch. The small shelf above the sink held our toiletries. There was adequate closet space and enough drawers for the three of us. Housekeeping did a great job and we had a towel animal in our window the second day. We will definately stay here again.
The swan is a great hotel in a great location. It is easy to walk to Disney MGM Studios, the Boardwalk, and Epcot. The heavenly bed is just that, HEAVENLY! Its a great place to stay, one of my favorites, I'd recommend it to anyone. In fact, I recommend it to all the teachers at my school so that they can take advantage of the great teacher (nurses and govt. employees too!) discount rate.
This Resort dosen't deserve to be on the WDW properity. It's not owned by Disney, AND IT SHOWS! If you going to take a WDW Vacation, atleast stay at a WDW resort.
Well, where to begin. The boats take a ridiculous amount of time, and not having a bus option is asinine. Even when a boat does come they fill it half way and leave behind a lot of people. There is no free internet in the hotel. I can get free internet in a $40/night Days' Inn and a $300 resort can't provide anything? Horrible. The elevators are poorly located and the walks from them to your room can be 10 minutes. This is a horrible design and fire hazard. You have to pay to park which is ridiculous since they're already getting a ton of money from you for the room. Finally, the beds are normal and not as amazing as everyone hypes them to be. All in all, a horrible deal for the price. All you get for $300 is a bed, sink, and shower. Find a different resort.
I loved it hear. It feels like a deluxe hotel. My only concern was being 'out of everything'. Definately not. Bening in any other hotel than the ones on the monorail loop is a false reassurance. The truth is that the bus' ran so well and frequently going straight form the hotl to the parks with the longest wait ever being 15 minutess and mostly being 5 minutes. The room serivce was good, but expensive - the pizza me and my brother ordered for two of us could feed 5! And the mara gives you a cheap place to buy breakfast, snacks, etc. Savanah is great, but dont get to hung up on it - you get bored quick. But dollar ofr dollar, great value and if you have a whole family, I think it is a great place
