We went for a late breakfast and even though the restaurant was full the food at the buffet was cold. Normal breakfast fare with french toast, scrambled eggs, sausage and the like. There was no toast though. Our waitress was friendly and we were seated quickly without having reservations. The restuarant wasn\'t bad the food just needed to be heated.
We ate at the Chef\'s Table last fall and just loved every minute of it. The food, service and kitchen atmosphere were outstanding. True it is more expensive than your average dinner, but this is fine dining at it\'s best and worth it. Perfect for the foodie willing to splurge a bit on an exceptional meal, and ideal for a special evening.
It\'s funny the overpriced Disney menu was mentioned. I actually think the prices fit the portion sizes, which is why I usually share my meal with my little sister. It\'s easier to eat a hot dog and burger by yourself, but the chicken strips are another story. Anyway, we always eat here when we\'re at Epcot and don\'t really have problems with lines and finding tables. The nice tables are outside with a view of the fountain and for people watching. For those not wanting to eat the regular fare, they do offer turkey wraps or something of the kind.
Wonderful snack while you\'re strolling WS or when you need to relax.
Very good snack. We had them while watching the Candlelight Processional and although I would have preferred the powdered sugar ones, I did enjoy the funnel cakes with chocolate on top.
It\'s essentially McD\'s with some Disney food thrown in. Still good though and we\'ll eat there if we\'re in the area when we\'re hungry. Worth a try if you like McD\'s back home. If you hate it or want to get away from the \"home food,\" then go to Flame Tree or Pizzafari or even Tusker House at the othere end of the park.
Since we spend most of our time at MGM on Sunset Boulevard, we decided to finally try this restaurant in November. Nothing that stands out, but since it\'s Disney food, it\'s always good. The proximity to ToT and RnRC is also a plus, so long as we eat BEFORE the rides.
We almost always have lunch here and the food is always good. Nothing new from other counter service restaurants but you can never go wrong here. I also really enjoy the themeing with all the movie props and such.
I don\'t like the new dinner set up. :( Very little interaction with characters.
This was by far the BEST counter-service restaurant I have eaten in to date. The menu was very diverse. The food was fresh and the portions were large. If you are going to order desert, beware!! The portions are huge! The cheese cake is woth every bite.
For the steak lover this was a home run. Not only were the Filet Migon\'s cooked to perfection but the New York Strip Steak was excellent. For those of us who don\'t eat red meat, fear not ...the Pork Loin over a bed of sweet potato mash was incredible.
The only BAD meal we had. Unfortunate....The setting is beautiful creating a picture of romance. The food came out faster than we could eat it. It was obvious the food was left under heat lamps. The edges of the burritos were stuck to the plate while the middle of the plate was cool. Very disappointed in the food quality.
Boma is a nice buffet with a wide variety of selections. All the items (soups, salads, veggies, meats) are prepared in an African style. There are also more traditional items on the kids section, for the less adventurous. It\'s a large open room, so it can get a little loud and crowded at times. While it may seem a little pricey, it is all you can eat including prime rib (the nights we went) so you can get your money\'s worth. I\'d start with small samples at first, so you can try almost everything before getting full. But save room for dessert because there\'s lots of yummy there.
We\'ve been eating at Jiko every trip for a few years now. It\'s a good place to try something a little exotic (South African). The restaurant is beautiful, great for a nice romantic dinner. It\'s Disney so of course there\'s a kids\' menu, but unless they were very quiet, well-behaved kids, I wouldn\'t bring them. The menu has a limited selection, but we\'ve liked everything we\'ve tried. Recommend the flatbreads and pistachio creme brulee. There is also an excellent selection of SA wines, though the prices are very marked-up.
I\'ve eaten here several times, most recently a few weeks ago. We have been lucky to always have great service and really enjoy our dinner. As adventurous eaters, there\'s always something that just WOWs us, lots that\'s very good, and usually something that just didn\'t meet expections. It\'s definately fine dining, and there is a kids menu, but for the money, I would say it\'s only kid friendly to well-behaved, non-picky eaters.
I saw the Hoop dee do for the first time when I was 5 years old...30 years later it hasn\'t changed...thank goodness. In every trip I have ever taken to WDW we go to the show... this past time was the first for the 5yr old and the 1 yr old. 5 loved it...belly laughed the whole way thru. even the 1 yr old clapped and sang! Our 14yr old was hooting unashamedly along with the little ones! My husband said if we did nothing else it was worth it to see those kids at that show! I hope it always stays the same!
An average resturant all around! Prices are pretty good compared to some of the wildly expensive disney meals. What was of interest to us was the table next to us..those of you with children will know who I mean1 We sat next to Dan Zanes!
We dine at Sci-Fi at least every other visit. The main thing the place has going for it is the theming. The food is good, not particularly up to the high standards my family holds Disney restaruants to. The service is very hit and miss. One visit we will have a great server and on another I feel slighted enough to warrent a deducation in the server\'s tip. As for value, it is on par with the rest of the food at WDW, it is slightly overpriced for what you get. We have never made it for dinner, but the value, according to the menu, seems to be better at dinner. The theming makes up for the average food, and in my opinion, this could be what the restaruant banks on. It is top notch, from the cars to the movie screen. My only very minor compliant is the amount of room in your car for the table is very small. We do not have kids but it seems to be a place that kids would love. The portion sizes are good. I never finish my meal so there is enough food there. Overall, I would have to give Sci-Fi a 4/5. The inconsistent service and the only slight above average food hampers this restaruant form receiving a perfect score.
Good for a quick bite, although I think all Disney restaurants are a bit overpriced. Love to watch the fountains outside.
Lacking an attraction, the Morocco pavillion is easy to skip over. We were at EPCOT on New Years Eve though, and it was the only place with availability. About half of our group didn\'t want to try it, but succombed to peer pressure (we were hungry!!). The menu has a variety of simple beef, chicken, lamb, and seafood kabobs, as well as more exotic dishes. I had one of the lamb dishes, and it was perfect. My friends that didn\'t want to try it ended up enjoying it as well. I can\'t remember for sure, but I think there were one or two totally American dishes. This is also a great restaurant if there is a vegetarian in your party. The belly dancers are a lot of fun too.
For a restaurant situated inside the Mexico pavillion, I expected authenic Mexican cuisine. The food would be more appropriately served in the American Adventure pavillion. Bland, boring, and simply not authentic. As for ambiance, it trys to mimic the setting of DLR\'s Blue Bayou, but doesn\'t do it nearly as well. Overall, the restaurant was a big dissappointment.
I admittedly entered this restaurant quite skeptical, as I\\\'m a regular at the Japanese restaurant in DC most-frequented by the Japanese Embassy staff. I was pleasently surprised to find the menu had something for everyone. There was the fairly standard \\\"Bennihana\\\" stuff (which you won\\\'t find in Japan) for the less experienced/adventurous, coupled with a la carte options that rounded out the experience. My friend ordered from the Teppan menu, and I ordered a la carte, and we were both very pleased. There was also a family with 3 children seated with us. It was their first experience with Japanese food. They were very curious about the things I ordered, so together with our teppan chef they got a crash course in Japanese cuisine as we passed plates around the table. It was unexpected and very fun for all!!
This is a GOOD restaurant. Nearly everything about it - the food, the atmosphere, the portions - is good. The service is excellent. My wife and I enjoyed our steaks. They weren\'t the greatest we\'ve had at WDW (that distinction would go to the Yachtsman Steakhouse), but they were good. The cornbread was very good. The kids meals were good. I wouldn\'t go out of my way to eat here, but if you are staying at PO-R or PO-FQ, it\'s worth a try.
I\'m guessing if I had had a couple of beers before or during our visit to the Biergarten, I would have forgotten the slow service and marginal food. I also may have enjoyed the lackluster, dorky Oompah band. My sons had a hard time finding food they would eat, and frankly, so did I. Also, having to sit at a table with another family was awkward. Not recommended.
Similarly to the Spirit of Aloha, this show is broken up into three \"acts\". In the first act, you\'re introduced to the characters. The second act involves recognizing anyone in the audience celebrating, and the third act is the heart of the show. The six actors and two musicians making up the Hoop-Dee-Doo troupe are a joy to watch. They\'re skilled at comedy and music and I sensed a lot of real camaraderie among them. They really seemed to be having a good time entertaining us and entertain us they did. Some good singing, some good dancing, a wealth of goofy comedy. We were lucky enough to sit so close I could touch the stage from my seat. Sitting that close, I could see the sweat on their faces. I could also see the women\'s microphones on their foreheads under their wigs. Kinda caught me off guard when I first noticed them. Freakish.
On my family\'s trip in June, We used the Disney Dining plan and it was great! I made reservations at all of the restaurants we had never visited before. The Brown Derby was NOT one of them. On our last day, (we were out of Disney Dining meals at this point) it started to pour at around 11 am. There was nowhere to sit at any of the covered areas at the counter service places, so my husband suggested we duck into the brown derby. At first I resisted, I knew it was more expensive and we were out of our \"free\" meals. My husband also usually picks the crummiest places! Amazingly, they had plenty of tables despite the rain (maybe because of the early lunch hour.) It looked stunning in there, and our waitress was awesome! After we ordered our meals, the waitress came back with a maitre\' d type guy carrying a tray. The tray had an old fashioned phone on it and they plugged it in right at our table! My daughter and her friend both were amazed! Then the waitress told them that they had a phone call & usually only the biggest stars got phone calls at their tables. She handed my daughter the phone & it was Goofy! He told her that he would love to join us, but stayed too long in the cement at the Chinese theatre! The girls were delighted! The food was the best of our whole trip. I begrudgingly told my husband that he made an awesome pick! I would absolutely go there again!
The food is very good and the service is always on their toes with quick turnarounds on the food. They are always very interactive with my child and keep her entertained. We make it a priority to eat there each time we go. The best thing available is the Bailey\'s Creme Brulee. This is most delicious!!!
We try to make this one of our stops every time we go to Epcot. ONe of our favorites
We ate at the ESPN Club one night, not knowing that there was a radio show being taped at the same time. When this happens the restaurant can get very loud so if you\'re looking for a place to have a conversation this isn\'t it. When you\'re going to watch sports though - it\'s perfect. The food was very good.
If you like seafood, this is the place to go! My family goes to Fulton\'s at least once each visit just for the crab legs. They are amazing. The service has always been outstanding and we have never had to wait long, even without priority seating arrangements. Fulton\'s is a \"not to be misssed\" experience.
We loved our breakfast at Cindy\'s Royal Table. It was our 5th wedding anniversary and we decided to try once again to get priority seating for breakfast. It took 5 years to get and we were hoping that it would be worth the wait. We were happy to see that they added lunch so it made it easier to get the seating for breakfast. Our table was decorated with ribbons and confetti and we received complimentary champagne glasses (for our orange juice). Each princess that came to the table signed our \"Happiest Celebration on Earth\" certificate. The menu was average but hey, we were eating in the castle so who cares!
I had wanted to try Bistro di Paris for some time now. I have been going to EPCOT since it opened and have even worked there for many years yet I had never tried Bistro di Paris. I have always heard great things but had not had a reason to try. After moving back to the Orlando area my wife and I have purchased some annual passes so for our sixth anniversary decided to make a reservation. Our reservation was for 8pm and we requested a table by the window which they were more that willing to accomidate. They appologized that the air conditioner was broken, but it did not bother us. The room is quiet with no music all you can hear is the quiet whispers of the other guests. The tables are dressed with simple white table cloths and a single candlelit lamp. We ordered the tasting menu with wine pairings. You are given 2 or 3 items to choose from that will best pair with the wines. Before the prelude, they served an extra course. A special amuse bouche of bread crisps with tuna and olives. It was a nice treat. For the prelude I chose a heirloom tomato with a parmesan crisp, tomato and pesto soup with ravioli and a portion of creamy goat cheese. My wife selected the fois gras which was served in two styles one was lightly cooked and the other seared with a balsamic vinegar. They were paired with a light and simple blush wine and they both were fantastic. The fish course was next Melissa chose a lobster with mussels in a bouillabaisse while I chose the seared scallops over goat cheese and tomato stuffed ravioli. They were paired with a Pouilly-Fouse. I am not a big fan of seafood, but who can pass up goat cheese? As we were finishing the fish course and moving to the aperitif, Illuminations had started. Our window gave a perfect view of the lagoon and the show out on the water. Our waiter recommended I move my chair to the other side of the table and watch the show on the same side as my wife. As we were watching the show, our aperitif was delivered. A sorbet made from special strawberries found only in france. It was served in a cocktail glass with a sidecar of a French liquor which we were told is drank right before going out in the snow to ski because of its warming qualities. It was different. My wife described it best by saying it was light eating aftershave. It did do its purpose as we were prepared for our meat course. The show had ended and our meat course had arrived. Mel chose the rack of lamb with vegetable confit and fresh herbs while I chose the beef tenderloin with marrow served with potato boulangere and asparagus in a red wine juniper berry sauce. Both were paired with a pinot noir which was wonderful. After the meat course we moved to the cheese plate which contained a slice of a cows milk cheese whos name I can\'t recall but reminded me of a wonderful grassy field. There were also two goats milk cheeses, one a little firmer and sharper and the other soft and smooth. After the cheese came a dessert sampler paired with Champagne. The plater had a tasting of every dessert on the menu. There was an almond flower ice cream which was to die for. Mel let our some four letter words in describing its flavor. There was also a chocolate souffle, a lemon tart, a mini creme brulee and a fruit cup soaked in vovray wine. The entire meal lasted about two hours and fifteen minutes. It was great from beginning to end. The food was excellent and was the service. I recomment making a reservation for 8:00 because half way through the meal you get an un paralleled view of Illuminations. Just be sure to ask for a table by the window. One of the other neat things was that when we left the restaurant there were no other people around. They had all gone home. My wife and I got to walk along the streets of the France pavillion by ourselves under an umbrella as a soft rain fell on us. It was great.
I\'ve gone to Disney 5 times (6 in 5 days) and every time my family goes we go here! The food is excelent, the service is excelent, and the show is hilarious. If you like dinner shows, then you can\'t miss this, period! It\'s excelent!
Yeah, the food quality is not great and you\'ll spend more than you ever thought you would for a burger, but come on, you\'re at Disney World and you\'re in a drive-in theatre in the \'50s and they\'ve made it into a cool summer night in the middle of a blazing Florida day!! All the kiddos seemed to really like being in a car and having their parents sit in the back seat. I don\'t have kiddos of my own, but that was my gereral observation.
If you don\'t have kids, you will be disappointed with the value resorts at Disney World. Pop\'s theming was too in-your-face and too literal for me. Next to the finished buildings was an unpainted portion of the resort, which all fellow former Marines will recognize as exact replicas of the barracks on Camp Lejeune. Once I realized that I was staying in a tarted up version of Marine barracks, the $100 a night began to seem extravagent. The other thing is, there is ALWAYS some sort of highschool-age competition group staying there, which means there are thousands of teenagers whose parents are in another state for the first time in their lives. While the idea of being surrounded by 1000 teen cheerleaders sounds like a great time in theory, they\'re actually really annoying and only get more annoying the more of them there are. My theory is that if you can\'t afford one of the moderate resorts, you probably can\'t afford to stay on Disney Property (and probably really can\'t afford the vacation at all). So to me, the value resorts are filled with these stressed out families who are trying to cram as much of the experience down their kids throats because they know they\'ll be paying late fees on the credit cards for this trip for years to come. The last straw for me was seeing three seperate parents have meltdowns all in one morning in the Pop food court. It was more stressful than being at work. We moved to Port Orleans Riverside and never regretted that move for a second.
It\'s a must-do for every trip. No Epcot experience is complete without it. People either LOVE or hate German food, but there are plenty of options even if you figure out you don\'t really like the ethnic food. The Optimizer dark beer is excellent and perfect with brauts. It\'s not cheap though, I think my fiance and I spent $70 for two buffet dinners and a drink each.
The food was really good, but we specifically asked for reservations during the fireworks and were pushed out by our server a half hour before they started. We were \"welcome to stay at the bar\" but that would have meant standing around since every seat in the place was full. I\'m not sure if the fireworks had been moved to later time or what, but it was really awkward. If you go, be certain that your reservations are not for more than an hour before the fireworks because you will be pressured out. However, watching the sun set from that spot and then watching the lights come on in the Magic Kingdom was wonderful. The food was fantastic, but the server gave me the impresstion that she thought we were a couple of hicks out for the first nice dinner we\'ve ever had. We\'re both pretty down-to-Earth people, but we do know how to enjoy a great meal and I like to be treated a little like I belong someplace nice. We were both dressed in business casual attire (as is the dress code) and were shocked that we rode up the elevator with someone in sweat pants. I think it deserves another try, though I will be much more cautious about timing.
We love the food and service here. This has always been on our list of restaurants to do. The value for the food and the option of the Fantasmic dining package makes this a must. Try the Veal Osso Buco, it is great,
A nice meal. Cheese soup is great! My steak was overdone and my son did not enjoy this place, thus taking away from my experience. I would like to try again sans child. Has the potential to be a nice romantic meal.
We did the Brown Derby along with the Fantasmic seats. What a great deal! Food was soooo good! Service was very nice too. Make sure you save room for dessert!!!
The topping bar is out of this world! Get a burger and add onions and mushrooms. Yum!!!
They have the best salad! Kids meals are not very good, everyone appears to order the chicken and split it between the little ones. Very good clam chowder!
Good fast food. Nothing spectacular, but a nice, solid meal. The salad was especially tasty!
We had a terrible waitress who dampened our whole experience. She was very unfriendly, and never did bother to offer us refills on our drinks, much less our dinner. We noticed the table next to us had a very attentive waiter and we were jealous! Food was good, but not great. Stuff was TERRIBLE!!! I like garlic, but garlic stuffing? I still want to gag when I think about it. Not a great experience. Would not visit LTT again. Very disappointed because of all the great reviews.
What a fantastic time! I have never laughed so hard or have been so entertained. Wow... we had so much fun we plan on seeing it on our next trip. The food is alright... Whispering Canyon has the better food, but as with WCC, there is A LOT of food. The strawberry shortcake was yummy. The waiters were awesome and the show was hilarious. One of the best WDW memories I\'ve ever had!
Service was ok, not the best, everytime I go, my pizza is burned...when I inquire about it, they always say that it\\\'s suppose to be that way.
Great eggrolls and fried rice. Lo Mein is so-so. Very fast and worth the money.
I\'ve had much better at a Japanese restaurant here in my home town at lower cost. I was very disappointed with this restaurant. When I left I bought some popcorn...I was still hungry. It was not filling at all. The service, however, was great! It was fun, but not worth the money.
Lots of meat, of course because it is German cuisine. Overall good quality food, but there is not too much for children to choose from. This is not a good restaurant for picky eaters. The show is really great though. The only thing I don\'t like about Biergarten is that sometimes you have to share a table with people you don\'t know...it\'s a little uncomfortable. Otherwise, I recommend!
we were a little disappointed with this place. we have been to benihana many times and were hoping for some really awsome teppanyaki. this place was worse than benihana and way more expensive. the chef was only mildly entertaining and the food was nothing special. we probably won\'t go there again.
we really enjoyed this place. the food was great, the entertainment was great and the service was great. i had the chicken and alex had the lasagna. alex said it was probably the best lasagna he has had (except for mine of course). the singer/accoridan player was great and the servers (especially the men) were more than happy to help him with the performances. the only thing we did not like was that the tables are so close together. the people on our left side were very nosey and kept sticking their heads in our dinner.
we ate here for dinner and had aunt janice as our server. she was great - she stayed in character and \"yelled\" at alex several times. alex had never been there before and had a blast. i had the pot roast and alex had the meatloaf. for dessert i had the smores and alex had the cheesecake. everything was really really good.
we ate here for breakfast and abolutely loved it. the atmosphere was great and so was the food. i had a chocolate shake and the pancakes and alex had an omlet. the servers were great and in character the whole time. our sever decided that because were we on our honeymoon she should embarrass us. she got a microphone and called us up to the front of the restraunt. we had to dance while the whole restraunt sang that going to the chapel song. it was very embarrasing, but very funny. we\'ll definately eat here again.
we ate here for breakfast and really enjoyed it. i had the pineapple macademia nut pancakes and alex had the tonga toast, but were excellent. neither one of us could finish because it was so much food. i also had the guava juice which was great. for our honeymoon we got free dessert. we will definately eat here again
we ate here once for dinner and twice for breakfast and loved it every time. this was our first dinner at the world this trip and it was the best!! because it was our honeymoon, they sat us by the window with a great view - we saw the castle and the water parade. the food was awsome, i absolutely loved the peanut sauce. we can\'t wait to eat here again. breakfast was great too. the food was good and the characters were a lot of fun. we will be eating here a lot in the future.
we ate here for dinner and had a great time. the food was great, i especially love the chicken fingers (i know it\'s for the kids, but i just love them). the characters were great. we always eat here and will continue to.
we enjoyed our food, but the services was awful. since we only ordered dinners (no wine or appetizer) we felt like we weren\'t treated as well as those ordering a lot more than us. after we ordered or food, our waiter never came back to our table. we saw him helping all the other tables around us and not even glancing at our table. finally, after i had been waiting for about 10mins for a refill alex asked to speak to a manger. the manager didn\'t seen to care too much either. we were very disappointed with this experience and are not sure if we will return.
we ate here for lunch and had a great time. cinderella was waiting to take pictures after check in and the cost of the photos is included in the cost of everything. the princesses came by and signed autographes and took pictures. the food was really good, it\'s not all you can eat, but what we got was all that we could eat. i got the salmon and alex had the \"pie\" both were excellent. because it was our honeymoon, we were given champagne flutes engraved with the crt emblem. one thing we noticed was that 18% gratuity was added into our bill and there was only 2 of us.
We go to O\'hana on every trip. It is one of our favorites. However, we were disapointed this last time. We don\'t like the menu changes, at all. First of all, they took away the lazy susan. Next, the fried wontons were replaced with wonton chips. The fried rice was replaced with potatos and the pineapple was gone all together. I\'m not sure why they decided to change a great menu. Also, this was the first time the restaurant wasn\'t totally full. Maybe we aren\'t the only ones who don\'t like the changes.
We ate at Hollywood and Vine for the first time last week and really enjoyed it. There were no characters while we were there - perhaps not character dining in the evening? But we were all adults, so we didn\'t care. Our server, Kyle, was great, and we LOVED the food. It was unusual enough to be interesting and delicious but not \"out there wierd\". We especially loved the creamed corn spoon bread. Oh, my goodness. I could have eaten that all night. Other popular choices were the pot roast, roasted vegetables, and a great variety of salads. We thought the dessert choices were a bit weak - rice krispy treats, cobblers, small tarts, etc. However, there was soft serve ice cream with a big variety of toppings, and you can never go wrong with that! As for atmosphere, I do think it was reminiscent of an old cafeteria - problem is, many of us still live in places where the \"old cafeteria\" is still in service, so it didn\'t really seem \"themed\" at all. But I wouldn\'t let that stop you from enjoying a great meal. We did the Fantasmic dining package. Our reservation was at 4:30 and then we saw Fantasmic at 8:30. It was very nice getting there just 30 minutes before the show and still having a good seat. Plus, you are in a great spot to beat the crowd out. We were on the first tram to the parking lot, and back in our room by 9:45. Woo hoo!
We ate at Rose and Crown for the first time Sat night (party of 6, 3 old couples, Chris was our server). We really enjoyed it. We each ordered something different and all loved our choices. I had the Cottage Pie (shepherd\'s pie) which was delicious, but I ate part of my hubby\'s steak and fish. It was some of the best steak I\'d ever had, and he enjoyed it too. However, it was more well done than he really likes, but it was perfect for me. Two of the guys tried the Imperial Sampler of beers - 5 6oz glasses of a variety (Bass, Guinness, Harp, and two others I can\'t remember). None of us regularly drink beer - the ladies disliked most of them and the guys liked two or three. This was only $10 and would have been enough for all 6 to get tastes of each. For dessert we had the Guiness chocolate cake and the sticky toffee pudding - all very yummy. As for seating, our reservation was at 6:20 and we were seated in a perfect spot for Illuminations, but we finished and were very nicely escorted out before Illuminations. Not that we wanted to stay - we had a couple of fast passes left for Test Track and Soarin\', so we hadn\'t planned to stick around for the show. But just so you\'ll know, don\'t plan to park there for hours waiting for the show. That wouldn\'t be right and they won\'t let you do it. With so many other choices we had never considered this restaurant a must do, but we were very pleasantly surprised and would happily eat there again.
We stayed at the Polynesian in July 2005 and ate at Kona every morning. The Great House gets very crowded because of the character breakfast at O\'hana but we got seated at Kona within a reasonable amount of time. I did feel that the portions could be bigger but they were adequate. My wife and eldest son had Tonga toast every day.
I thought the food and menu selection at Big River were both very good (burgers, grilled chicken, pasta, roasted turkey sandwich, home made kettle chips). I recommend sitting outside if the weather allows, it is unbearably loud inside. Our server was completely indifferent to us. I did notice that many of the other servers were quite friendly and chatty to their tables, so maybe our waiter was just having a bad day. Nice outdoor setting, good food, I\'d go back.
I recently visited Le Cellier for the first time. I decided to try it since I had heard nothing but good things about it. I can say now that Le Cellier\'s reputation is very well deserved. The food was excellent, the bread sticks representing different regions of Canada were very good, the steak was perfectly done, and the cream cheese mashed potatoes are the best I\'ve ever had anywhere. I highly recommend the Maple Creme Brulee, it was perfect, the maple flavor was not overwhelming. The atmosphere is nice as well, a little bit dark, quiet, and cozy. I will be sure to visit Le Cellier again!
We have to stop in here each time we visit WDW. Located in the Wilderness Lodge, this restaurant serves up a BBQ feast fit for a King - or your whole family! There is a full menu, but we order the family style BBQ platter, which consists of all you can eat BBQ Chicken, Spare Ribs, Pulled Pork, BBQ Baked Beans and many other items. Every so often, they round all the kids up and do things like hobby horse races around the perimeter of the restaurant. We once asked for a spoon and got a 3\' spoon brought to the table. ***If you ask for ketchup, make sure you realllllllly want it!!***
We love eating here. The family style serving makes it very easy for everyone to sit at once and eat. With the character buffets, we are always getting up with the kids to get food. Here at the Liberty Tree Tavern, you ask for more and you get plenty. The turkey by far was the show stopper. Great colonial setting and friendly atmosphere.
Normally, I don\'t like to buy sandwiches anywhere, but given the name and boastings of the restaurant, I figure I\'d try it. Very good sandwiches! I forget what I had, but it had really good roast beef, from what I recall. Highly recommend it for both value and quality.
I was pretty impressed by this restaurant but would not recommend trying it if you are in any kin of hurry. The service is not the fastest and lines are often long leaving the whole place relatively crowded.
I like this place for breakfast or a snack in between shopping trips, and the food is fine, not anything special, but fine. There are, however, much more interesting places to grab a snack. Nice to sit by the lake though.
Look, this is a review outlining the fact that, yes, a Mickey D's is a Mickey D's, but as a Brit, we don't have the chance to supersize in quite the same way. I have never seen such portions!! My arteries nearly clogged up after minutes....but dammit, if you are going to eat Mickey D's, this is just fine and the setting is unique.
We visited Pop Century this past Christmas and I was mostly there were a few issues with housekeeping but aside from that we enjoyed our stay. I am used to renting executive homes in Kissimee and the Pop Century and all the resort guest ammenities were well worth the price.
The Dungeness Crab Cakes are absolutely out of this world. So is the bisque; it's really neat how they serve it. Personal fave includes the Grilled Shrimp in a citrus basil sauce with Fulton's rice. It is not cheap, but has been worth it every time we eat there. The lunch menu does have a couple of the same entrees as at dinner time, and also offers smaller portions. To save time and money, visiting at lunch is a great idea. To just save money, order the Dungeness Crab Cake appetizer for dinner and add a bowl of soup.
I don't know how to review a popcorn stand!!!! BUT I have to say that I love Disney's fresh, ultra sweet and warm popcorn. It's the best and I can munch on it all day long...!!!!
This is a cute little van selling your favourite ice-creams. It's nothing special BUT I did buy a fab ice cream sandwiched between two chewy cookies! And that's good enough for me!!
Wow...it's not always easy to find a decent place to sit and eat with table service at MGM. We were looking for somewhere to eat before going to watch Fantasmic (which we missed because it was so busy and we were turned away 40 mins in advance!!!!) and everywhere was packed with long waiting times. But then, tucked around the corner from Muppets 3D was this Italian. And it was a God send...seemingly quieter than the other more obvious eateries and no line. The food is good enough (some sauces are a little watery) and although food is clearly on a circuit, it doesn't feel too much like this because of the lovely atmosphere and the relief on every diner's face for having found somewhere decent to sit and eat in peace! Phew!
Kids love it in here...it's so detailed. You are seated in a particular animal zone and when it thunders, they start hopping around, lights flicker and rain pours (not over you you will be glad to hear!). The food is good and although this wins no prizes for originality, the atmosphere certainly is. Book early! Check out the volcano styled building from a distance!
There are divided camps when it comes to Planet. I think if you know you want burgers, steaks or pasta, then you will be pleased by above average portions and good quality food in a very lively environment. NOT good for your wallet however and watch out for very pricey drinks. The wait in line can be horrendous so watch your timing. Yes, it has a chain feel to it, but that's what it is...
If you love excellent quality burgers and ribs...this is for you! The atmosphere is buzzing and you are often treated to some great Jazz and Blues. I love the whole vibe in this place and the food matches this. Can get very busy but you can sip a drink in the bar outside if you don't mind waiting for a table to become free.
I just love this place! And you will too, if you like your dinners lively, sometimes with loud live music being played. The food is top notch and varied, the Margaritas are excellent and kids love it here because it is so animated. The theming is wonderful and the salsa dancing is a great touch. It gets very busy so book in advance. The black bean soup is great as are any of the chicken dinners.
This is one of my favorite resturants. We go at least once every trip. The Alaskan King Crab Claws are excellent and worth every penny. The Sour Cherry Cobbler is not to be missed. The wait is greatly reduced at lunch time however the full menu isn't available. For dinner, eat early or late to avoid a long wait times.
Excellent meal. Honey Sesame Chicken and Canton Pepper Beef are my favorites. And eating with chopsticks is a fun new experience - you know you've been a lot when you can master eating rice with them!
I love this place. The pizza is very tasty and if you can get a seat overlooking It's a Small Word, you have one of the best seats in the house.
Huge dining room but still gets packed during meal times. Top notch fixins bar with grilled onions and sauteed mushroom for your hamburger. Ate way too much.
I don't know about you but i can't get chinese food as good as Nine Dragons back home. Definately try the Pepper Steak and the Honey Sesame Chicken, they will melt in your mouth.
I read about the pineapple dole whips on these forums so I had to try them. So yummy. I only wish I had stopped for one more.
We enjoyed a HUGE plate of nachos at a table overlooking the lagoon. One of the highlights of our trip to Epcot.
The only thing that I have tried here is the baklava and it is definately the best I have ever tasted. Very juicy.
Try the beef fried rice ever. Beef melted in my mouth.
We discovered this cart during our last trip to Epcot. I highly recommend the pistachio frozen gelato.
We always stop here while at Animal Kingdom. Here you can get the always yummy McNuggets and fries from McDonald's. Is it me or do the fries taste extra fabulous while at WDW. Wow!!!. The fixin' bar is top notch as well.
This is an excellent place to stop for a quick bite. Seating can be scarce during lunch times but the stir fry chicken and rice is WELL WORTH IT!!!! Very tasty, a new favorite.
The servers here are extremely friendly and the desserts are incredible to look at and to eat.
