This place is smaller than it looks, but with a very high ceiling. It is definitely pretty and clean. The food tasted pretty good but way overpriced! You could save some money by enjoying a real Disney buffet instead. Goofy and Pluto were at the restaurant the night we dined, and they were very awkward. It almost felt like they had no idea who their character was (probably not official Disney cast members). The desserts were the highlight. They had a very large buffet of desserts, each in very small portions so I was able to try 4 different ones. I wanted to go back and try more, but that was my limit. Too bad they don't have a cheaper price to just go in and eat the desserts with. :)
Had the seafood buffet last week and while it was OK I'm glad I had a restaurant.com certificate to offset my disappointment. The fried stuff was good, usually is hidden in the batter, but the lobster was obviously prepared early in the day to prepare for the evening rush and tasted like it. Rubbery, tough, tasteless. The crab legs were dried out and hard to enjoy. Getting a mouthfull of crab leg meat from crabs harvested in their infancy is very difficult. The seasoned, boiled peel and eat shrimp was good as well as the desserts! Made the trip better. They also DON'T take a Disney gift card or your Disney room card for payment. Seems they just use the Disney name to attract you to their Walt Disney World Resort. My money goes to a real WDW restaurant next time. Good luck!
I want to try all of the dining spots around the World but I probably won't go back. The food was only okay. We went on Wednesday night (Southern BBQ Night). The buttermilk/bleu cheese salad was bland but then came the cornbread and biscuits...Yum!! The buffet had prime rib, fish, chicken with mango salsa, pork & beans, mac & cheese, a baked potato bar, corn on the cob, ribs, black bean salad, and I'm sure some other things. I used the delicious chili to top my baked potato. My boyfriend preferred the mac & cheese on the kids' buffet instead of the adult buffet. There were plenty of bite-sized desserts as well. Try the chocolate peanut butter dessert and stay away from the spearamint-tasing mint chocolate dessert. Pluto & Goofy were both on hand to take some time for pictures.
We went for a late breakfast and even though the restaurant was full the food at the buffet was cold. Normal breakfast fare with french toast, scrambled eggs, sausage and the like. There was no toast though. Our waitress was friendly and we were seated quickly without having reservations. The restuarant wasn\'t bad the food just needed to be heated.
