Test Track at EPCOT returns to early closures

EPCOT's Test Track is once again back to 6:30pm closes this week as maintenance work continues.

Test Track closed at 6:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday last week, and again closed yesterday at 6:30pm and is scheduled for a 6:30pm close tonight.

Test Track looks likely to be closed for 3 days again this week

It appears the return to normal hours last Friday was perhaps more associated with the busy weekend period, and not the completion of the work. No word yet on how long the earlier closures will continue as the schedule only gets updated on the day of.

I'd like it if they rethemed this ride it makes little to no sense. The original version sucked too, but at least it had better theming.

It can't run in the rain, and now can't run at night? I assume some sort of new law saying that all vehicles need headlights including slot cars?

TT was not built next to Test Track. It was, however, built next to Mission:Space, which the poster implied was "one of the worst rides ever built..."

No it is not like saying that. Really not anything like saying that. If that is what you understood try again. I understand the original tone of EPCOT. I was there and rode all of these rides. Though each ride, World of Motion, Horizons and Spaceship Earth had different themes they were very much the same ride concept. I said nothing about wanting fast rides. So you know what you can do with the Six Flags comment. I also mentioned I enjoyed the first iteration of Test Track better. It stated, as you went through each section why you were there and what was being tested.

I’m guessing this is the result of a major project that either can be done all at once in a refurb or done in phases, but the individual tasks just needs a little longer than an overnight window. Thinking it’s tlc for future reliability, not a issue of something that keeps breaking.
