Tiana's Bayou Adventure delayed opening

Disney has notified guests via My Disney Experience that today's 1 pm virtual queue for Tiana's Bayou Adventure Passholder previews will not be available (Tuesday, June 18, 2024).

Tiana's Bayou Adventure has been experiencing frequent shutdowns throughout the previews, resulting in several hours of downtime each day. Delayed starts have been common, with yesterday's preview delayed by 3 hours.

Today's shutdown has halted the virtual queue at boarding group 26, and drained all of the water in the ride path. It isn't clear if or when previews will resume for today.

One more day of Annual Passholder previews is planned for June 20, 2024, with the ride set to officially open to all guests on June 28, 2024. To participate in the preview, Passholders must make a park reservation and join a virtual queue on the day of the preview via the My Disney Experience app, with opportunities to join at 7:00 am and 1:00 pm.

I'm thinking less about lull and more about temperatures. When it's cold, less people want to ride a log flume. It's why Splash had minimal lines during the winter. Heck, I walked onto it multiple times the weekend before the ride closed forever.

Cooler temps about to come in. It's the South, so it may get hot again in another week, but hopefully things starting to turn into Fall weather will allow Tiana's to get off VQ sooner rather than later.
