Disney Adjusts Early Entry Rope Drop at Magic Kingdom, Allowing Earlier Access to Tomorrowland

Early Theme Park Entry at Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom has adjusted the Early Entry process for resort hotel guests starting today, March 18, 2025. Guests using the Early Entry benefit were allowed into Tomorrowland at around 7:45 am, significantly ahead of the usual 8:30 am start of Early Entry for a regular park opening at 9 am.

Early Entry guests were heading into Tomorrowland as early as 7:45 am this morning at Magic Kingdom

Previously, Disney held Early Entry guests at the bridge near Main Street, U.S.A., until 8:30 am. Today's change allowed guests to enter Tomorrowland early, walk around freely, and join attraction queues ahead of opening. However, the rides themselves did not start operating until the official Early Entry time of 8:30 am.

Disney has not confirmed whether this adjustment is permanent or part of a temporary test. Guests planning to use Early Entry in the coming days should stay tuned for further changes.

Is there any justification for TRON not being open for Early Entry, or is it strictly a cost cutting measure? For Tiana’s early closure and not offering it for Extended Evening Hours, they can at least pretend they’re doing maintenance on it
