We did this event without the kids and we had a blast. We can't wait to go back in 2 years with the kids.
It's like having FastPasses to the most popular MK attractions except for Space Mountain, which tends to have a slightly longer wait time (15-20 minutes). Everything else? Less than 10 minutes. The atmosphere is festive, and while the average age is higher than during the day, there are still plenty of younger kids there, as well. My only complaint: more of the food carts should remain open.
GREAT time to go...you get all the good things Epcot offers plus a chance to spend all day trying out foods and wines from all over the world. Go every year and love it!
Great way to say thanks to the man who started it all. It was a good celebration that was spread over the entire WDW property. If only Walt could see what he has created.
I only went once because I usually go in the first two weeks of December and the event is cancelled during December because of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the Christmas season is general but the event is a big must if you have too much to do to get on the thrill ride like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain during the early morning.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is very nice and I go every year, so don't get me wrong here. I love going for some of the Christmas shows, the parade, and to ride all my favorite Magic Kingdom rides at night especially Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. But the last time I went and when it rained, the entire event was disorganized and the entire time was ruined not only by the rain but by the disorganization and lack of communcation amongst cast members. Other then that, the event is a definite must. Just be warned at refunds will not be given if the event is rained out.
You can have the park basically to yourself. If you get a chance to do this I suggest you do it! In the three years I have been going to E-Ride nights all the lines are basically like Fast Pass and most of the time shorter! It is worth the money to do it.
This event is a nice addition to EPCOT in the spring. The dispalays are beautiful, the workshops somewhat interesting. My favorite part has to be all the Disney character topiaries. Fun to see so many in one place.
