You may have seen social media and blog reports this week of rumored plans to retheme Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Walt Disney World to music from the band Queen.
The source of the recent rumor was actor Ken Marino, who played the role of the sound technician in the original 90's pre-show for Rock' n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith pre-show.
Ken appeared in a recent episode of 'Office Hours Live' on YouTube and said that Aerosmith was to be replaced with Queen at the Disney's Hollywood Studios ride.
In a follow-up tweet last night, he said he has no idea what is happening. He tweeted, "I have no idea what they are changing it to. Some one said that to me at some point so then I said it. It was more of rumor than anything else I suppose. Maybe it's gonna be the new Billie Holiday ride. Could be good."
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster closed in February to begin a refurbishment and is expected to reopen in late summer 2023. Disney has said that no changes are planned to the ride experience, which would suggest that no changes to the music or theme will be made.
