TRON Lightcycle Run Virtual Queue and Lightning Lane entrance

With the official opening of TRON Lightcycle Run today at Magic Kingdom, Disney has updated its policy regarding late arrivals using the virtual queue.

On the webpage for TRON, the wording now states, "Late arrivals may not be accommodated."

During the soft opening period, some guests were frustrated by securing a boarding group from home or their hotel but could not get into the park quickly enough to reach TRON inside their arrival window. Disney has been offering a late arrival grace period of around one hour, but guests arriving outside of that time have usually been denied entry.

TRON Lightcycle Run is best experienced after dark due to the exterior part of the track and its lighting, and Disney appears to be concerned that a high number of guests may attempt to delay their boarding until it gets dark.

At EPCOT's Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, Disney has been very relaxed with arrival times and will usually admit guests anytime after the arrival window opens.

It's a great attraction ... alebit with everything Disney has produced in the past decade about a minute too short.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they do it after fireworks or near closing time for day guests on a party night.

Yeah, having Big thunder and space down along with Tiana's being pretty unreliable would be bad.
