Most people hate the new version but I like it. All thou the old ending had way more scenery and trust me I miss it I feel it was a bit sloppy. I like how we get to make our own futures at the same time I wish there was some scenery before the screen clip. The beginning and the ending effects are pretty sharp looking now if they can get some scenery to go with it.
The Candlelight Processional is always a JOY. We have seen this show 5 times and these were the worst seats we have ever had, but the shortest wait time ever. It was a very COLD night and there was insufficient blankets. If blankets are provided, there should be enough for all (they know the exact number of guests they will have). Guides ignored my request for a blanket completely. The schedule is very tight to see all that is planned, and the guides are good at moving people along. Of course the guides are very knowledgeable and interesting. There is a light dinner buffet which was inside because of the cold. The food was OK. Hard core Disney fans will love the last part of the tour; Event & Decorating Support vist.
This whimsical place is GREAT for kids--meet Mickey, ride a mild but wild coaster(Goofy's Barnstormer), meet Minnie, meet all your favorite Princesses, and go thru Mickey and Minnie's country houses!! But...it's closing on Feb. 11, 2011. So hurry and check it out--the kids will love it!
This is a great awesome show I think that fantasmic is a excellent show in disney's hollywood studios!I love it!
Looks like everyone @ WDW goes to DHS just to see the show, that's why in some times, you've to wait more than an hour just to grab a seat (and not a good one). When I was there recently, the water screen on the left side (side where I was) was not working and the show... loses everything. Hope to see the show again in normal conditions.
Epcot is my tied for favorite park. Blasphemy, I know, but the theme of the park is incredible. My father made a comment on our previous trip that seemed to highlight my perception of the park: "I love Epcot, it has great rides, an amazing theme, great food, beautiful scenery, and above all, they play great music." We're suckers from Soarin' and Illuminations, both of which have amazing scores to them. The future world theme also gives me goosebumps, as well as the theme from Spaceship Earth. I found that while Future World is where most of the action is, World Showcase is something that really needs some love and appreciation. On both the day of our arrival and the day of our departure, we always stroll through World Showcase, slowly, taking in the incredible feel of each pavilion. Epcot, to me, is perfect- there is plenty to do but also plenty of time to sit down, relax, and reflect on where you are.
Disney's Hollywood Studios is my favorite afternoon park. Since we generally stay in the Epcot Resorts, after a long day at the MK, AK, or Epcot, it is nice to unwind in the pool and then head over here. I have two problems with the Studios though: one, is that it really does lack in the attraction department, and two, is that the theme seems to diminish as you get further and further back. I do love the dynamic atmosphere of the park, as Sunset Boulevard seems to come alive at night, but there really needs to be more attractions. Sure, Toy Story Midway Mania, Tower of Terror, Star Tours, and RnRC are all rides we do multiple times, but the others are one and done, which makes for a half day park. I'm sure that once they add the rumored rides that they are supposed to, the Studios will become an all day adventure. It's getting there, for sure. Now if only they would work on Animal Kingdom...
They should of demolished that ride and kept one of the better rides.
They should of left it alone.
Okay, would I ride this again? Yeah, maybe once a vacation. The poor thing gets a bad rap just because people are upset Alien Encounter closed. While its nothing special or amazing, its also not bad. I do even like it a little bit, I suppose.
Animal Kingdom is beautiful, no argument there. The ambiance and theme of the park is bar none, and it really removes you from the rest of the world. The few attractions that are there are all top notch (with the exception of Dinorama). Those are the good things about the park, on to the bad. I know those who really love the park will tell me that I'm taking in Animal Kingdom the wrong way, but to them I offer this point: You can do all of the rides, watch nearly all of the shows, walk on the treks, eat, and appreciate the theme, but you will still be done at 3 or 4. That still makes Animal Kingdom a half day park in my eyes. When we go to Disney World, Animal Kingdom is usually only visited once in our 6 or 7 days there. Not because we don't like it, but because we've done nearly everything multiple times. All the park needs is an expansion. (A rather large one).
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is always a good time, although compared to other roller coasters it is rather tame. I have a sentimental weakness for it, as it was my first "big kid" ride at Disney when I was younger. That said, the theming is top notch; it is always a must do with my family multiple times.
If I had to die tomorrow, my dying wish would be to see Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, one last time. It is my favorite part of my entire Walt Disney World vacation, hands down, and is, in my opinion, the best fireworks/nighttime show on property. The score gives me goosebumps, the fireworks are incredible, and the globe is also amazing. If you can only do ONE thing at Disney World, watch this show. You won't regret it.
I still like to pay figment a visit. I like think of Imagination as a saga. Dreamfinder does his job by telling Figment what the imagination is all about then they pass their separate ways and dreamfinder passes on his legacy.
That ride was so good I remember going on it when I was only 2.
Michael Jackson was huge, but I don't think this is so good to bring it again. Maybe in the 80's-early 90's this attraction was the best, but now I think it can't compete against the rest of the epcot wonders. Completely out of place.
I think Disney should turn it into a Tron experience. Put us inside a video game. Tomorrowland would be a perfect spot for such an attraction.
This reivew is based on two different years/trips of doing Soarin' during non-peak times. In 2009 we did a Disney trip, missed out on fast passes and waited in line for probably 30-45 minutes, the games during the queue make the time fly by and the design of the area is true Disney. once you get on the ride its kind of blah. For a year we talked about going back and hitting some rides we only got to do once and my wife and I debated the true 'fun' of Soarin' vs. other rides like star tours, Dinosaur and agreed that it isn't a thrill ride but not exactly an experience either. Her conclusion was it didn't matter, she thought the ride was fun. We did get to go back in September and I realized why I did not like the ride. Unlike most of Disneys experience rides they didn't do the usual job of hiding the screen, or making you feel like you were the only one getting the experience. Also the two times I have done this ride I've had the great pleasure at staring at barefeet above me which also did dampen the experience for me. All in all I think there is huge opportunity for the ride down the road.
I was just at the Parks (10/2010) and did the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. Our tour guide (Scott - he brought along a wand) was great. Amazing Tour.
This is always my favorite ride at Magic Kingdom. Not so thrilling that I'm too afraid to just relax and ENJOY THE RIDE!
I hope with the new movie coming out soon that this attraction gets more attention. Unlike 20 years ago Disney now owns the Muppets so hopefully there is a big push and an updated show, like they are doing with Star Tours.
Put this on your list of things to do first
My four year old daughter thought that the ride was to short and boring. Lots of potential if it was longer, but not worth the wait. About as exciting as Malstrom in Ecpot.
Small World is fun the very first time you go it, usually when you're a kid. By the time you're in your 20's, like me, however, it is tedious and extremely annoying. It's basically a very slow boat ride past dolls that sing the same song over and over and over again. On a trivia note, my ex-boyfriend helped build the Aztec volcano. He was stuck in there for hours working on it and learned the song in Spanish!! Only ride if you have kids. No, wait. Even with kids, don't ride this. Go on something better, like Peter Pan.
I'm not a big fan of the riverboat. Yes, it's pretty and can be relaxing, but mostly it's just hot and stifling, especially in the hot time of Florida. In case you don't know, Florida's summer lasts from March to November. It's really slow, and there's not too much to see. I went on it last year, and I don't even remember anything I saw, so it couldn't have been that fantastic. Don't waste your time with this one.
What can you say? This ride is a classic!! I love it so much that I actually have a little model Haunted Mansion in my room. Don't forget to check out the Pet Cemetery when you exit the ride. They even have a little gravestone to Mr. Toad!
The ride itself is not exciting for adults, but if you have children, you have to take them on this ride at least once! The best part is when you're standing in line trying to guess what color your elephant is going to be. I'm almost always purple, for some reason. Timothy the mouse used to stand on a disco ball with a whip in his hand, but now he holds a feather, I think. I think they've also added more elephants, but I'm not 100% sure. The wait is long and it gets hot in Florida, so go on this one in the morning or early evening.
This is a good place for kids to play while their parents relax. It's totally designed for the 7 and under crowd, who will really enjoy it. I will definitely take my kids to it someday when I actually have them.
My family and I have always loved this show. The songs are great and catchy (especially "Blood on the Saddle"). Yes the animatronics are a little dated, but the show is in the air-conditioning, which gives it automatic bonus points. And there's very little wait time.
All ages will enjoy this ride. I really enjoy the "competition" to see if I'm a better shot than my friends are (I usually am). It's not really scary or fast, so everyone can ride. The waiting area is pretty cool, and it really loads fast. I would definitely recommend trying this out. Midway Mania may be a better "ride", but that line is absolutely horrible, so until it clears up in the future, try this one out.
I know it's just me - that once I experienced The Hulk at Universal and Rock n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios, this ride seems tame in comparison. The waiting area is blazing hot in the summer (and since it's Florida, it's hot through the Spring and Fall too), and it takes forever to load. The ride is like a tame roller coaster, fun but nothing really exciting. The best part used to be when we did a sharp turn and could see the "burning settler's cabin" across the river. But now the cabin doesn't burn anymore, which is very disappointing. Anyway, kids will love this. This is a good "introduction" coaster, to be ridden after Goofy's Barnstormer and before Space Mountain. It's dark and scary at the beginning, so don't take your kids on it if they are afraid of the dark.
Pirates of the Caribbean has always been one of my favorites, although the ride itself has been changed a few times. Originally, the pirates were supposed to chase the women (and one of the women chased a pirate for laughs), but it was changed so the women were chasing the pirates away. I don't think the original was that bad, but either way, it's still fun. They've added Jack Sparrow to various scenes in the ride too. I was upset when I first heard about it (how dare they change one of my favorite rides!), but once I went on it, I was pretty happy with the result. I think the creators did a really fantastic job. The only thing I'm really not happy about is that they removed the talking animatronic parrot from the entrance. He used to sing "Yo Ho Yo Ho a Parrot's Life for Me" and was soooo cute (but I'm a major parrot lover anyway). They replaced him with a sign or something and I don't know what they did with him (hopefully, he'll appear somewhere else). Anyway, this is a great ride for families. A little scary at the beginning, but nothing too bad. There is a drop, but it's pretty small.
IT'S REALLY STINKS AND THEY NEED TO UPDATED OR BRING A NEW SHOW!
WHAT IN THE HECK WERE THEY THINKING!?!?!?!? This attraction is beyond stupid. It's not even worthy of a state fair, much less Disney. Weak, weak, weak. I want my 15 minutes back!
It's always been my favorite parade of all time. The music is the best.us
One of the best live bands in Epcot - they give a great performance and sound wonderful. Make sure to see them on your next trip.
love the big puppets and extra effects like the bubbles haha. amazing show...condensed version of the movie..love the fact that they bring the show into the audience, the energetic performers and at the end the birds that say "mine mine mine" tell u "bye bye bye" =)
the acrobatics are awesome. its just like a cirque du soleil show. love it!
for those of u who don't like big rides, this is not the one for u. i like this ride and everything but everest is a beast. the big drop is a doozie, i thought since i could handle the drop on splash mountain i could handle this....whew! it made my head hurt! the part that really got me though was the backwards part inside the mountain. u don't go upside down but it sure feels like it. for those of u who don't exactly know what happens in there, go to youtube and search for expedition everest with the lights on. it just kinda tilts a bit but it really doesnt feel like it. my stomach did flips..i thought i was gonna puke lol. good thing i didnt eat first!! well anyways its got a fun theme lol! if u like thrill rides by all means! i still like it even if my body didnt!
this park is mostly watching shows instead of riding rides..the biggies as far as rides go here are the great movie ride, toy story mania, tower of terror & rock n roller coaster. but the shows are amazing! and if u love hollywood its just even more amazing! love this park!
so i know they say its not a zoo...but thats basically what it is. but the BEST one! u get so close to the animals & it has rides and its just ahhhmazing! unlike the other parks though where u try to rush through everything, definitely just SLOW DOWN and enjoy watching the animals cuz if u run through this park you'll miss everything and be disappointed. also beware of the yeti & dinosaurs -_-
everyone needs to see this! i love the lion king characters & i love the message in this short film. it reminds me that i need to recycle & do things to help the planet & animals. i wish i had this short film on dvd really. its a little sad but very moving!
i just watched the full show of this on youtube. i've never seen it in person. i skipped over it cuz i happen to be afraid of birds a bit (like the "tour guide" heh) but wow i think i will have to see this in person. i loved seeing all the "tricks" the birds did and it was very entertaining. i love the message at the end where they talk about protecting the wildlife. everyone should see this.
this ride was such a good addition to the park. the games inside were a ton of fun and the style of the cars were awesome. loved everything about it...even the wait in the line! they designed the interior wonderfully!
Ok so it doesnt matter how long the line is (especially with a fastpass :) ). The long line is a definite turn off for some people in a hurry to get everything done, which as any WDW veteran knows wont get done if you spend 1 day at each park. But then its time to get on, there's not much of a pre-show build up that i enjoy but that's fine because by that point your excited that your almost on. Then you get on row 1 i enjoy because there are no feet dangling in your peripherals haha, any the views and smells are amazing. I have filmed this ride and been on it many times and the visual definition of the ride film has become slightly outdated. The only thing i would suggest would be to update it to possibly an HD Blu-Ray :)
Speaking as someone who never participated in the previous attraction, Alien Encounters, and thus seeing Stitch's Great Escape as new and not comparing it to its previous attraction-I was still incredibly disappointed. And I adored Stitch before this ride. Nothing really happened, and the few things that did were unpleasant. I recall being uncomfortable with the scents and ridiculous, gross jokes. I understand people complained about the previous ride being too scary, but this ride is too gross. If I had children, I wouldn't want them exposed to this sort of humor and think it acceptable. Overall, the ride was beyond simply boring, it was a negative experience. There's a reason there's never a line, and they simply shut down the fast pass distribution. People have figured out it sucks. And really, if there's a ride that isn't a fast loader that has a wait time consistently below 10 minutes at freaking Disneyworld....that's a bad sign.
This past Sunday, we took the Inspiration: Through Walt's Eyes tour at Walt Disney World. We were originally scheduled to take the tour Monday, but had a call from someone at the Disney Institute the week before to tell us Monday's tour had been cancelled. Fortunately, our schedule allowed us to move the tour up to the day before. (They were very accommodating, and were willing to offer us a full refund or reschedule us for a different tour if the Sunday tour hadn't worked for us.) The tour meets outside Epcot at the designated "Guided Tour Meeting Area" near the Guest Relations window. Our particular tour consisted of three groups: our party of two, another couple, and a family of four. Considering this group size, it was easy to understand why the Monday tour had been cancelled. Our tour guide indicated attendance for this tour hasn't been that great. After meeting in front of Epcot and getting our name tags, we immediately boarded a Mears bus and headed for Hollywood Studios. The tour guide used the transit time to interact with each family on the tour (where are you from, what do you hope to get out of this tour, etc.), and then explained the basic itinerary for our three hours together. He also handed out headsets so we could hear him as we walked through noisy areas. These headsets worked well in the parks, but had issues on the bus. (I believe the bus' generator was causing interference.) So, when we were on the bus, he used the bus' intercom instead of the headsets. After a bag search at a security checkpoint, our bus entered a backstage area of Hollywood Studios, and parked behind the Tower of Terror attraction. We exited the bus and walked into the park through a gate that brought us in by the Tower of Terror entrance. (The park was open, and it pained me to walk past Tower of Terror without going in when I saw there was only a 10 minute wait.) We spent the next hour or so slowly walking up Sunset Blvd. Our guide had a back-story from Walt's past that explained the reason behind the name and/or theme of many of the buildings along this street. This was an extremely interesting part of the tour, and frankly, one of the few portions of the tour that stuck to the theme of inspiration through Walt's eyes. When we reached the intersection of Sunset Blvd and Hollywood Blvd, the guide discussed the transition from the movie era of the 30s and 40s (covered by the buildings on Sunset Blvd) into the television era of the 50s and the opening of Disneyland. Unfortunately, we didn't walk further into the part of Hollywood Studios themed around television production for this discussion, but simply stood near the wait time board at the intersection. I personally thought this was a missed opportunity. We then walked up toward Toy Story Midway Mania, where we stopped to discuss the more recent history of the company and the Pixar films. Some interesting discussion, but I didn't see a strong link to the theme of the tour, aside from a parallel that was drawn between the forward thinking natures of both Walt Disney and John Lasseter. I was very disappointed to have walked past One Man's Dream without going in. I would have loved to have had a guided tour through that entire attraction. I think this would have been much more in keeping with the theme of the tour than other things we did later in the tour. Another missed opportunity in my mind. We then exited the park through a cast member gate between Toy Story Midway Mania and Journey into Narnia, where our bus was waiting. We were then off to the Magic Kingdom area. Our next stop was a backstage area where Disney Event and Decorating Support is located. This is in a support area behind the Magic Kingdom, beyond the train and monorail roundhouse, in a warehouse adjacent to the Holiday Support Services facility. The Event and Decorating Support facility primarily supports parties and events with which Disney is involved. Some examples given to us were Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the christening of Disney cruise ships, ESPN events, involvement with the Olympics, etc. As it was Sunday, the facility was shut down, so there was no activity to witness. We did not go into the workshops, just walked around the warehouse. It was interesting to see some of the old props, but in all honesty, a warehouse is a warehouse. I personally viewed this part of the tour as wasted time. Aside from the fact that it had nothing to do with the theme of the tour, there was nothing new in seeing this facility than things I've seen on other backstage tours. To an extent, it wasn't that different from the waiting line for the Hollywood Studios Backstage Tour attraction (except on a much larger scale). Also, because many of the events supported by the facility are external to Walt Disney World, it wasn't quite as "magical" as going through the Holiday Support Services building (on the Yuletide Magic Tour) or the Central Shops facility (on the Backstage Magic Tour). At those facilities, one sees props that are recognizable from WDW. This is not necessarily the case at Event and Decorating Support, where the only thing I recognized was one sign for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. (My opinion -- your mileage may vary.) From there, we re-boarded the bus and drove to the Magic Kingdom service area near Space Mountain. After passing through another checkpoint where our bags were checked, we pulled into the employee lot behind Main Street USA and Tomorrowland. We first walked down into the Utilidors. We didn't enter any of the specific service areas, but simply made a quick circle of tunnels, stopping at some photos to have discussions. The only connection to Inspiration: Through Walt's Eyes was a story from Walt's Disneyland experience, where he saw a cast member in a costume from Frontierland walking through Tomorrowland. This was the inspiration for having the utilidors built for WDW. Frankly, I think the utilidors being a part of this tour is simply a marketing ploy to try to entice more people to want to take the tour. (If you really want to see the utilidors and other backstage cast areas, I personally recommend the Keys to the Kingdom or Backstage Magic tours. These tours, which we've done on previous visits, provided much more detailed exploration of these areas.) After exiting the utilidors, we re-entered Main Street USA, and walked up into the waiting area of the Main Street Train Station. While sitting there, the tour guide shared stories from Walt's childhood and early career that related to his love of trains. While some of these stories were repetitive of those shared during Disney's Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour, they were still an enjoyable element of this tour. (After all, there are only so many Walt Disney stories to go around. It's not terrible that some of them are told on multiple tours.) One critique to this portion of the tour is that it was all conducted on the second floor. On our way out of the building, the guide quickly pointed to displays on the first floor that were applicable to some of the stories he told. While I'll admit to enjoying the respite on the benches after walking around the utilidors, at least portions of this discussion might have been better held on the first floor near the visuals. (We later returned to the Magic Kingdom on our own after the tour, and spent some time looking at these first floor train station displays in more detail.) From the train station, the tour guide walked us up Main Street USA, where the he pointed out key names on the second-floor windows. He had stories and background for each window he discussed, and did a good job of tying it all into the theme. We turned and again went backstage through a door between the Plaza Restaurant and the Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace. Our bus was waiting for us, which we re-boarded for the ride back to Epcot. During the ride back to Epcot, the guide entertained questions and answers, collected the listening devices, and gave each participant a pin. In all, we found this to be an enjoyable three hours. However, I think this tour has a bit of an identity crisis. I strongly suggest the Disney Institute redesign some elements of the tour, and re-evaluate if some of the itinerary is really in keeping with the theme. Not every Walt Disney World tour needs to incorporate a visit to the utilidors. Event and Decorating Support was also a real stretch for the theme of this tour. It added little to the experience -- especially on a Sunday when the facility is essentially closed and there's no activity to see. There are so many other areas with a direct Walt Disney connection that would seem a more appropriate use of the time devoted to these aspects of the tour. Please consider adding a walkthrough of One Man's Dream to the tour. Walt Disney had a real vision for EPCOT, however, Epcot the park wasn't even part of the tour. I would have enjoyed hearing about how "the Florida project" transformed from Walt's original EPCOT concept of a living and working city into the the Walt Disney World resort we all know and love, now. Speaking of Epcot, aside from the fact that there's a formal tour meeting area in front of this park, I didn't understand why this was the starting and ending point for the tour. Unless Epcot is somehow added as one of the parks on the tour, the transit time to and from this park should be eliminated, as it only takes away from the three hours available for the tour itself. Having experienced many of the tours offered at Walt Disney World, I cannot recommend this one as someone's first tour. Tours such as Keys to the Kingdom or Backstage Magic, while more costly and time consuming, are a much better starting point. For those with a few tours under your belt, I'll let my trip report speak for itself. I understand I was very critical in my report. I must say, though, that I don't regret taking the tour and don't feel like we wasted our time or money. I just wasn't "wowed" by this tour as I have been with many others. Our past tour experiences include: Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour Backstage Magic Tour Disney's Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour Disney's Family Magic Tour Yuletide Fantasy Tour Behind the Seeds at Epcot Tour The UnDISCOVERed Future World Tour Hidden Treasures of World Showcase Tour
I miss that ride because it's awesome! I hope I remember this ride!
Despite the name the pavilions in Future World are barely or even not entirely about the future. This one was different and it was the most elaborate ride in EPCOT and one of the best designed Disney rides EVER. Bringing an interesting twist to the omnimover technology it featured very different settings, an omnimax movie screen and even a minor interactive element, actually more interactive than the fake interaction in Mission:Space. It will be missed by most you experienced it and belongs in the Disney Hall of Fame.
I loved the original show and was nothing less than devastated when I suffered through the abomination the "new management" brought to Walt's favorite attraction! Iago is unbearable, aggressive, annoying and just someone to hate, I had the urge to climb up and rip the AA to pieces. The show had NOTHING to do with Tiki culture any longer, RAP and songs about as Tiki as a polka band ruined a classic attraction and this "plussing" couldn't have been timed worse as in the late nineties the tiki revival was beginning that led to a new wave of tiki bars, shops, restaurants etc. worldwide. They didn't change the show in DL, instead they made a major refurb and when the room opened again it was a major success. According to CMs and guests the WDW-version is one of the least popular attractions (together with SGE). If you don't know the original show (and don't dig into tiki culture) then perhaps you will find it amusing although it still will be aggressive and loud.
Finally they are going back to the vaults where they came from. This extremely annoying and stupid tv-series that even seems to corny for preschooolers is about as Disney as a Ginger Lynn adult movie. I hated to see this crap at the DHS.
If you only can visit one water park make it this one. The waves in this gargantuan pool, more a kind of artificial lagoon, are the highest in any wave pool on the entire planet. Up to 6 feet and more they are what comes next to experiencing a real surf at the beaches. However there are a lot of beaches that only offer waves of this size during a storm and TL features them every day. A must!
I absolutely loved Mickey's Philharmagic. The journey is fun, the 3D has a lot of neat gimmick screen movement (the corks still get me jumping every time) and the 4D effect with the water and smells is great. My only complaint is that because it's so old, the 3D really looks dated compared to what you see in theaters nowadays. I'd love to see a new story with updated animation and technology, but it's still fun as-is.
I'm probably giving it more credit than is due as a classic ride because it really is a bit outdated in comparison to other dark rides. The story is fine but it goes by very quickly.
I always make it a point to snag a Fast Pass for Peter Pan's Flight whenever I'm in MK. The feeling and perspective of flying are really neat and the art in the different scenes is fantastic. It's really a worthwhile experience but unfortunately it's just a little shorter than I'd like.
The Swiss Family Treehouse is a decent experience provided you're willing to walk through the whole thing. It's a neat setup and it gives a great view, but it's really up to you to get enjoyment out of it.
The Carousel of Progress is a great look at the past and how we got where we're at. It's not a thrill but anyone with an appreciation for history and the future like Walt had will enjoy it. Technology advances so fast that it's always a little out of date but it still gets the message across.
A great classic ride, very immersive and fun, the animatronics are well done and the ride has good length to it which all adds up to a ride well worth the wait.
What more can be said about the Haunted Mansion? It's fun and a little spooky at the same time, creates a fantastic atmosphere and has incredible detail. You can ride it over and over and discover something new every time. An absolutely can't-miss ride.
Any ride that you come out of having been "spit" on is bad enough. To come out of it with sore shoulders from the mechanism's pounding and the smell of rancid chili dog in your nostrils as well seals the deal. If the story were interesting enough, I might tolerate another go at Stitch's Great Escape but it was disappointingly bland. I can't wait until this ride bites the dust because as of right now, it's one of the few rides I absolutely know to skip in the MK.
Wow!!! this ride is definatley is in my top 5 Rides in Disney. The whole experience is terrific. Starting with the line this is my absolute favorite Queue. Just the design that the imagineers put into this all of the details offering shrines explorers offices with there artifacts and a "museum" type theame towards the end. I went the first year that it was open the line was packed and it made it much less boring then it could have been if there was just nothing. it's worth waiting in the line at least once Next the Cars stick to the basic animal kingdom colors and take the very familiar shape of a small train. they are quite comfortable and feature two seperate pull down bars one for each person in the car. Finally the ride it is just around 3 minutes long and starts off as a normal Coaster you go up a seemingly large hill that gives you some speed as you go down a small hill. then the infamous broken track at which point i always say "Umm that's not good" then a lound scream as you hurdle backwards at an alarming speed it almost feels like you are about to go upsidedown but you don't it is not for the faint of heart then you begin to go foward as you relize that you need to go down the same steep hill you just went up then everyone screams and you are going so fast you forget about the yeti until you go into his cave you see him very breifly but thats just the point he is supposed to be a myth so when you see that ferocious beast you get a big shock. Overall this is just such a thrill and you just want go on over and over again my last included at least 7 rides on this the single rider is such a great idea if you want to get on a lot
It looks great my wife and daughter are going to love this. They really needed more for girls.
one of the best parts of the entire world... always my wife and I's first and last attraction to visit.
couldn't be better.. you probably didn't need to be told that, though.
mexico pavilion is pretty great... some of the best food in all of the parks.. but this ride is one of the most boring things I have ever experienced.
Well this new area maybe great for some but our two boys aren't going to be interest in the new are. Could have done alittle more for both sexs.
This ride is one of our family favorites. We make a point to ride it everytime we are at MK
This is one of my very favorite Disneyworld memories. I was there twice so far. 2 years ago, my partner and I were so tired we were always in bed by the time it came around (LOL) but we could hear it and wondered what it was. This year, I was determined to see it! There is something so magical, after a long day at the parks, about sitting on the shore of your hotel (in our case, the Wildnerness Lodge) and watching this happy little parade go by on the water. Fun music, cute characters. I love it!
Firework shows don't come much bigger than this! In addition to the normal Wishes launch sites, this show uses nine perimeter launch locations, island launch site in the Seven Seas Lagoon, and use of the Water Pageant barges for light show and audio for the MK resorts - this is a BIG show. Great viewing locations from inside the park and around the lagoon at the MK resorts.
This movie should be required viewing for everyone. It was very moving. WELL DONE!
Great entertainment for every member of your family. Catchy music and good themes. Party story gives it a whole new dimension. Kids would love to dance with their favorite characters. The finale with the confetti gives it a very nice touch.
Indicated for the 50th Golden celebration. Liked very much the theme of it. Very liked by small girls and princess fans.
If it wasn't for Lion King, I'd never walk in here.
Could be so much better. In contrast, California Adventure's slightly above average Grizzly Rapids is a masterpiece.
...this is my favorite attraction in all of Walt Disney World. Still in my least favorite park, however, with the smallest amount of things to do.
I'd almost rather walk the way to Conservation Station.
This attraction is the kind of in depth one that EPCOT Center used to be filled with. Still terrific and a must see.
No spoilers here- just go and be amazed and delighted!
Version 2 was not worth the time and a waste of a beutiful and original concept from the opening of the park. Version three is slightly better. Time for version number 4.
El Rio del Tiempo, the previous incarnation, was elegant and understated. Hits of mystery, high on charm. This tooned redo is a mistake- although it is still pleasant to drift along the front of the indoor pyramid in the moonlight.
Been to various parts of France two times. This film instantly takes me back. Avoids the cliches but presents the famous elements with grace and charm. Well worth the wait. And housed in my favorite Showcase.
A great attraction- a thrill ride for the entire family. One of Epcot's best.
I took my mother on this tour in Sept of 2009. Living with the Land was closed for refurb and this was our only way to enjoy the greenhouse. It was informative, fun and interesting. We got to eat fresh hydroponically grown cucumbers, held huge pumellos, saw a giant spice garden and learned how pineapples grow. One of the best things I have ever experienced at WDW.
If they gave you more time to create your roller coaster, and more tricks to do (like CyberSpaceMountain at DisneyQuest) It would be so much cooler, but for how short it was, it is so much fun!
They perform this show way too often, and it's getting EXTREMELY old. Whenever i hear them coming, i run and hide.
Good band, fun show.
I wish to be there again. I've been there just one time and I'm counting the days to ride it again.
Keys to the Kingdom is a great tour. Its full of interesting history about the Magic Kingdom and some glimpses of backstage areas. I've done the tour twice in the past two years and each time I learned something new. The experience is highly dependant on how good your guide is. The cost is a bit high but I think it would be worth it to any die-hard Disney fan. It is a long walking tour so be sure to wear comfortable footwear. Cameras and bags are not allowed, you'll be asked to rent a locker to store your belongings if you bring anything along. Lunch at Columbia Harbor House (30 minutes) is included as well.
If you're an Epcot nerd like I am then you will appreciate this tour. Our tour only had about 8 people but it was a lot of fun. James was our tour guide (and I highly recommend him). Highlights of the tour: finding out what Spaceship Earth (or the "golf ball") was made out of and getting to touch a piece (hey, I'm a nerd I enjoy those types of things), the VIP sections of the Living Seas (or whatever it's called these days) and Mission Space, cutting ahead of the line via a back door for Soarin', seeing 2 of the original dinosaurs from the Universe of Energy, seeing where they wash the 3-D glasses, the costuming/uniform areas, and seeing the old Image Works. Seeing the old Image Works brought back a lot of memories. We were allowed to take pictures of certain areas that are considered "on stage." I'm sure I'm forgetting some things *smacks head*, but like I said I highly recommend this tour if you love Epcot. The tour lasts about 4 hours and was around $60. Definitely worth it!
This rates as one of my most favorite attractions in the MK. It had been several years since I had been to disney and when we went back in 2002 it was closed at that time. I was devastated !! We have been going back every year since then and I can't wait to see this classic creation of Walt's. I was so sad to hear they my close it and tear it down. It would be a shame to loose this educational experience. It is a great see for young and old !! Maybe it just needs new seats, but do not change this classic attraction.
This sit-down ride is especially part of my must-do list with my dad. It is an attraction that was made with Walt's pure, special touch. It's special to me in that way. Now even though this ride is somewhat old and does not have the HIGHEST quality of Audio-Animatronics, it is TOTAL CLASSIC DISNEY. Experience this if you want a look back on time itself and a look back on Walt's perspective, or if you want to cool off after a long day in the Magic Kingdom.
This attraction is great. Every time I go to the Magic Kingdom, I ride this at least twice(During the day w/ a Fastpass and at night towards the end of the fireworks show,Wishes--I do attractions during that because I've seen it a bunch;if a first timer to the World, watch fireworks--) Along with the other two Mountains, Space and Splash, these attractions are definitely MUST-DOs! Not scary at all, just plain out FUN for kids and parents!
not sure when this attraction arrived at the Mk, but it is great. even when I was at the park at 1 AM and my feet were tired and my belly was full from delicious, salty popcorn, I loved this. I laughed and overall acted like a 6 year old does when he/she sees Mickey for the first time in Judge's Tent. The 4-D effects(splashing water, scent of mouthwatering food, etc.) are great! I love this attraction and it does not need to be replaced. Maybe some renovations, MAYBE. But no TRUE NEED. Disney lovers-take your kids. heck, take the whole family!
This attraction is especially enjoyable, for me, because it has that classic Disneyland, old Imagineer touch to it. Most little ones will not be scared, even though the exterior is somewhat creepy. Just remember, it's "999 happy haunts". This ride through is a great way to sit down for a few minutes, even though the outside lines can be long! Experience this, it is a cherished classic!
This ride based off The Twilight Zone series is the best of its kind. The drops are extremely smooth. The backstory is fantastic, setting up an eerie feel to this attraction. Ride this if you are a thrill seeker. But the overall theme and ride itself might be scary to some. If you do not like the feeling of free falling for a couple seconds, don't ride! I truly love this ride, even though it sometimes creeps me out! Wonderful attraction!!!
I guess everything is relative, right? My kids like this ride. One time they wrangled me in to going with them. I expected to be spinning and spinning and dizzy and nausiated by the time it was over but it was actually a really fun, pleasant, perfect-paced coaster for younger people. If you judge it for what it's meant to be, it's stellar.
This one has grown on me. The first time I rode it I enjoyed it but also thought it was a little too bumpy and frantic. But the more I go on it the more I enjoy it. It's better if you try to get in to the story. And you see more with each ride (goes along with the frantic statement above - it's got some great effects... but it's so fast at times you don't get a chance to appreciate them). I still think the acting is a little kooky and geared to young kids (even tho the ride is too scary for them!).
I judge every 4D show now against this one. Other venues have 4D. We even went to London recently and they had a "4D" movie you watch before going on the London Eye... and I compared it against the gold standard, Animal Kingdom's Tough to be a bug. Nothing compares. The visuals are stunning, the interplay between on-screen elements and animatronics elements is just awesome. It is a little scary for little ones at times. The first time I went to Animal Kingdom I left thinking this was one of the best attractions in the whole park.
There are a lot of space mountain fans out there - 'fraid I'm not one of them. This coaster is waaay better. Some loops, and more to see in the dark than the nothingness of space mountain. And of course, the fact that you're rocking out to Aerosmith all the while doesn't hurt. I think the queue for this ride is one of the best, too. The idea of going to a parking garage to head to a rock concert - the atmosphere is very cool. Stepping out onto the red carpet at the end is a nice touch too.
When I look back at the videos I took of this show it's a weird sensation - I feel like I can still feel the heat from the pirotechnics - huge balls of flame shooting up as the car jumps through them. This is a great show. A great place to sit in the shade and be entertained on a hot day. You can sit mid-way up on the covered bleacher seating and it's actually very pleasant - a nice view of Hollywood Studios, sometimes a breeze. One time they even had some pretty lengthy technical difficulties to work through but we like the show so much and it was so pleasant being out of the heat that we didn't mind and waited until the show resumed. Overall a great show. I still don't know how they master some of those tricks (although we have seen them bump lightly into each other during the spinning and crazy stunt driving).
Its Pitch Black And YOu Free fall most of the time.... you get a bit of a jerk at the end. though
NO matter what your age you will love it
Too Boring And Nothing TO Do
This ride is not as bad as people say, but it's not the greatest either. If your kids are afraid of the dark, this is not the ride for them. On this ride, you go into a round room with Stiches holding tank in the middle of the room. You sit down and you get strapped in, this is where I messed up. I slouched down in my seat and when I tried to sit up I couldn't! The shoulder bars move down until they are right on top of your shoulders then they lock into place. So, for the whole ride, I was being squished down into my seat! lol Stich jumps on your shoulders, spits at you, and burps in your face... In complete darkness. It's a pretty good ride for the older crowd, but I wouldn't make the little ones ride. Oh, and just remember to sit up when the straps go down!
When I was a kid, I loved going here first! I still like going there just to feel young again lol This is a Disney favorite of mine because of all of the memories I have here! One day my family and I were waiting for Mickey's Toontown Fair to open and we were first in line. When it opened, Minnie grabbed my hand and we walked all the way to her house! She walked me through her house and let me play in there for a while. Then afterwards, I went to take pictures with Minnie! It was such a great experience, I loved it!
This is alot of fun, but its not for the skiddish. There are real fish, sharks, and coral down there that just make the scenery beautiful! A peice of advice, the water is freezing! It's like ice in there! I say do this attraction on a hot afternoon when you really need to cool off. Even if you can't swim well, this is good for you. You can't paddle of kick in the water because it would upset the fish so you just have to wade over to the other side. You can also ask for a life vest if you need help floating. They also provide masks and snorkels that they wash after every use, you know because the snorkel tastes like hand sanitizer lol
An exceptional attraction. One of the two best attractions on property (with Haunted Mansion). Great atmosphere and thrills.
This ride is alot of fun! You can always talk to the other groups in the boat and get a good lauph when they get drenched. I would suggest to ride this on your way out of the park at the end of the day. This ride gets you soaked and you wouldn't want to walk around the park wet all day :p It's a fun ride, but they could jazz it up a little.
This is always a must do! Its alot of fun and the drivers of the boat are always a hoot. They tell the cheesiest jokes but I love them! This ride makes for a good time for eveyrbody, old and young!
It took me a while to realize that the Epcot icon was a ride, but that's just because I'm not the brightest Disney fan out there :p The new ride is alot of fun because they personalize it with your picture. The touch screen was a really good idea and it adds alot more fun to the ride. This ride is really good to cool off and rest after a long, hot day in Epcot. Overall, I like it alot.
This is a Disney Classic! A must do! The little ones will love this ride because of the wonderful scenery and music. This is a good place to cool off after a long day walking around in the park. But that song will be stuck in your head all day so be prepared :p
When I was little, I hated this ride with a passion. My parents forced me to ride it everytime we went to Magic Kingdom. But I'm happy they did that because now I love this ride!! It just took me awhile to realize I was being a chicken :p It really is loads of fun and can be enjoyed by the little ones and the bigger crowds. It's a good, classic ride that's a must do!
This ride is loud, rough, and overall thrilling!... For the older crowd. This ride is not for the little ones unless they are really into loud noises, the dark, a really rough ride, and a dinosoar popping out of no where. This ride is really good for teens and parents though. It's alot fun but can be scary and rough to some. I have yet to ride this ride without covering my eyes...and ears..
This ride is alot of fun for everybody in the family! It's not too fast for the little ones but it has a lot of drops which make for a good thrill in the older crowd. The scenery is really good for this ride as well. The rocks look real and there's just so much to see! Oh, another thing. This ride is really fun to ride at night! You can see the lights on the Castle and the whole park is lit up!
This ride was alot of fun when I was little. The waiting line had so much to see! This ride really isn't for the grown ups, but it's really good for kids! Not too scary for the little ones and it doesn't last too long, only about a minute.
When this ride first opened, I was terrified to ride it. I saw it being built and it looked relly scary at the time. My parents finally got me to ride it and I loved it! I had never been on a rollercoaster that went backwards but I loved this ride! It was loads of fun :)
Had a great time. We were just a group of 2, so at lunch, we got to sit with the tour guide and grill him even more. Learned a lot and loved it.
What were the Imagineers thinking? Yes, seeing the director tell us some behind the scenes tidbits was interesting. But then just herding us into a room to watch clips from the movie and then see a limited number of props? There has to be better ways to use this space! Don't waste your time.
After hearing of the new refurb done to the Backlot Tour, I was really excited to see what new things would be available for viewing. After riding on 4/21/10 I was very disapointed. The first scene where audience members are chosen to preform the stunt show was changed to not include any audience members as actors. It was just two cast members giving a spiel about how all the effects in movies work and how the timing has to be perfect. They ran through all effects and they ushered us on to the prop warehouse. All flat screen TVs in the scene were off. After getting on the tram and moving through the costuming dept. about 1/2 of all windows were covered going through the building. Not much to see. Next up was a pretty sad boneyard. It's hard to believe they would actually reuse any of these items as they all were pretty well weathered. The last and most annoying part of the whole "rehab" was found in the catastrophie canyon scene. We were in the second to last tram car, the only car that did not shake or move at all while the earthquake/water scene took place. It was a very underwelming experience. All the little things that I loved about this attraction were either removed or broken. What was the point of the rehab? Maybe it was just an "off" day for the backlot tour, but if this is the new version, it's a depressing one!
I didn't know about the VoL until Fall 2008, and now I have to see them at least TWICE during every visit to Epcot. This past weekend was no different. Their talent is amazing and more people should hear them!!!
We've skipped this attraction in the past but I thought we should give it a try just to cross it off the list. Well we were quite surprised. It was a very neat and clever attraction that left us smiling and wondering "how did they do that?!?!" Go see it!!!
I took the 9:30am tour in late April 2010, with tour guide Evelyn. The tour begins with check-in at the Tour Gardens, where each member of your group is given a name tag, security ID, and ear piece. We were shown a menu of Columbia Harbour House, and asked to make a selection for lunch. Complimentary water bottles and coffee was also available at check in. The tour began promppty and began with a walk along Main Street and onto Center Street. The tour guide explained the 4 keys, Safety, Courtesy, Show and Efficiency, and how they apply to various elements of Main Street USA. From there we headed to Adventureland, with a look at some details that are often missed by guests. We took a ride on the Jungle Cruise, with the tour guide taking the mic to explain a lot of backstage info on the Jungle Cruise. (We boarded through the exit). From the Jungle Cruise, we headed backstage near Splash Mountain to get a backstage look at the Pirates Show Building, Splash Mountain water facility and show building, and the Parade Buildings. Fascinating to see how industrial Splash Mountain is backstage, some serious hardware running that. Splash was also surprisingly noisy backstage. Inside the parade buildings we got a close up look at SpectroMagic and the daytime parade. We also saw the Move It Shake It floats drive by - amazing how noisy those things are when there is no parade music playing - they are also quick! Heading back onstage, we headed through Lilberty Square and arrived at Columbia Harbour House at exactly 12pm for lunch. The food was all laid out at preassigned seating, and we had around 20 minutes to eat. Very well organised with typical Disney efficiency. A well timed break for a recharge. Next up was the Haunted Mansion. Entrance was via the Servants Entrance - neat little corridor. We had lots of backstage info ont he Mansion, and headed on fvor a ride to take in some of what had been talked about. More details on Liberty Square followed, and then onto Cinderella Castle for a look at forced perspective. Next we headed over to the Crystal Palace to head backstage and into the Utilador tunnels. It was fascinating to see down there, and all the infrastructure that is in place. I would have liked to have seen more of it, but security protocol nowadays rules that out. We spent about 30 minutes there, including a video that shows some of the functions of the tunnels. Another walk backstage led us back to our starting point to conclude the tour. Running at 5 hours, it's a non-stop detailed look at the Magic Kingdom. Our tour guide Evelyn was great, she really knew her stuff and had great enthusiasm. It's also worth mentioning that the headset audio system makes a huge difference. We could hear every word without constantly having to gather around. It was especially useful in the noisy Main Street USA environment. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone - it's difficult to fault. For someone new to the parks, it may well give them a whole new appreciation for what goes on. For regulars, it's an absolute must. I'm not sure how much of a re-do-ability the tour has, but do it at least once.
Space Mountain is my favorite dark ride in WDW and I love it! I can't wait to ride it again! The new Space Mountain i can't wait!
While it has become the park's icon, the hat really hinders the intended 1950's Hollywood ambiance of the area. Though it might look nice elsewhere, it seems to remove much of the intended atmosphere of the area.
This ride is great, it is bumpy, scary, and so much fun! It may be slightly scary for some of the youngsters..but it is so fun and amazing how everything is.
This show is amazing, I have seen it many times. It is the quality of a Broadway show for adults and entertaining and fun for the kids. You will love it, and it will be great to take a break from running around to all the other rides!
In my opinion, the Carousel is the best attraction at the Magic Kingdom. If it ever closes, I would no longer visit. I saw the Carousel on the very first day it opened at the 1964 World's Fair and loved it ever since. I followed it when it moved to Disneyland in California and then to Florida. I am sad that they want to close and demolish it as it is part of my youth. It is one of the few educational attractions remaining as it takes guests through the past and into the future. They already demolished GM's "World of Motion" which showed the story of the invention of the car. I already heard that the attraction is only opened seasonally.
It's a great icon since it ties into one of the best shows in all of wdw -- Fantasmic!
i love how the boat is donald. Right down to his hat. The gold whistle is repesenting the gold ribbon on his hat!! Down side is there isn't much to do on the boat.
Just beautiful at night!!! GREAT icon!
Minnie's house is home to so many fun items. The best thing about it is the fact that the house is interactive. Phones, stoves, micrwaves....you can do it all! FUN !! I also like the "Tiger lillies"and "Two-Lips" . FUN!!! Sometimes your lucky enough to get a tour from Minnie herself.
Fun for all. Lets dads get competitive, kids become space rangers, and it seems all have fun! Kids love getting instructions from buzz at the begging of the ride (in the quece or however you spell it) . He is much like Mr. Potato head in Toy Story Mania. Then, a favorite scene is the finally. When you and buzz take down Zurg together!!! GREAT FUN!!!
I hope this show never leaves because there is not a whole lot up muppets out there. I think it needs better 3-D and some updating.
I saw this show it's awesome and good! I love those disney music!
PLEASE KEEP IT (-_-)^
i loved it!
fun,cute
This 45 minute ride begins with the preshow, like most disney rides. The only downside is this one is pretty long and sometimes itll be a while before it even starts, which usually means sitting on the floor which i dont mind but you know it can get annoying. Besides that the whole entire storyline of the ride is fantastic and the iMax style of the ride with the whole room surrounded in TV screens is excellent. I'll admit some of the animatronics are outdated but its still a classic.
I miss Horizons something terrible. It was the very soul of Epcot. When it "died", the optimism and spirit left the park.
I know I say I can live without it because I got spaceship Earth to cheer me up along with the possible Hope for the future Journey into Your Imagination but I really hope they bring it back with a new story and adventure as good as the old one.
The original Journey into Your Imagination I think was and still is the best ride to ever be experienced in Epcot. I still cant believe they replaced suck a great masterpiece loved by all ages.
This is my favorite night time show in DHS! Fantasmic is awesome! I love it! Mickey Mouse is the Best!
American Adventure is awesome show to watch and shows you how the America was born with war and Freedom! And the songs Golden Dreams is awesome too! I can't wait to see it again!
-Ok so my family will come down here around once a year and usually spend a little over a week in WDW. The year animal kingdom opened we were there for the first time. Animal kingdom is one of the most exciting parks attraction wise. Quick list of my favorites (in no particular order of course ) -Khali River Rapids -Kilamanjaro Safari -Primeviel Whirl -Dinosaur -Of course....Expedition Everest Top shows there would be the lion king show and the nemo show they are both pretty good. Haha very exciting rides and when riding the safari always listen for the "Don Cheadle" sounding guy to say Simba 1? Are you there Simba 1? haha i just think it sounds funny
I live watching the fountain and it is the first thing I go to see. I wish they would restore the show fountains back to their original glory. Since it is the type of attraction it is I dont see any need to change a thing just restore the hardware. My favorite thing about the fountain is that they use mostly instrumental music. I still give it a 10 because it is a great thing to watch.
the tree of life rules!
Sweet icon! Very big!
i read a review on here that someone put, but am not going to name names, saying that it's a waste of time, money, and etc. during my last half of the disney college program august '08-may '09 i actually worked at the wildlife express. honestly, i never rode it before my first day of training there but now that i worked there for a few months, i absolutely LOVE the WLE and can't wait to ride it when i go to disney next week. it is the only way to get to rafiki's but also is an exciting journey itself. i always dreamed of the backstage areas in my over 30 trips to disney before my college program starting right before my 20th birthday and it is the only free way for disney guests to see backstage. i also noticed that someone said that they didn't have any narration on the attraction, which was not your fault, since all WLE cast members are supposed to narrate the journey. i dont know if the conductor was speaking personally to some guest sitting right next to them in the last car, trying to take care of a guest that might have been standing during the ride or holding stuff outside of the window causing a huge safety risk, or maybe had lost their voice after working several long shifts in a row creating magic. some guests demand that it be a roundtrip for them which can sometimes be an issue when the train arrives at consevation station and there que line is overpacked with guests who actually did take the time to enjoy rafiki's and the actual disney website describes the attraction as being a "transportation service to rafiki's and back...not a roundtrip ride" especially since you will have the chance to see the journey back after taking your time to enjoy rafiki's. no attraction at disney is a waste of anything, you just need to learn to appreciate the beauty of disney and walter elias disney's dream. walt may have not planned out some of the attractions himself but all of the wonderful imagineers have walt's dream in mind and his presence is definitely every step of the way. just because your "cup of tea" may not be the wildlife express or some other attraction, i think it's crazy that anyone would talk horrible about an attraction personally...just saying!
looks good sounds good smells good end of story its a great ride show
soooo its fun and all but kinda boring unless you go at night and theres not a long wait. No real drops and its really loud in the begining with the cheesy bats its a must do though. Favorite parts is the loading voice "WILDESTTT RIIIIDE IN THE WILDERRRNESSSSS!" and the goat on top of the mountain and of course the toppling rocks.
Ok so a ton of people are probably complaining, too loud to rough, well guess what thats the point of the ride. The authentic bumby motion of the ride vehicle is crazy. The preshow, museum, music is great. The animatronics and sounds seem very realistic and theres no SAFE SIDE in the ride. That carnotaurus is coming to you charging from the left chomping from the right and roaring from above, so everyone gets the thrill. This of course makes it even better to see the guests faces on the ride photo. Only downside would be the pterodactyls are just dolls on strings, but thats not enough to bring this down to a 9/10. I've been riding this since i was 4 and it never fails to impress.
this ride is sooooo fun!
I can ride that ride for hours, it is fun at the same time just nice to ride thru. I hope they never change it.
This is very exhillerating to ride but the only bad part is at the bottom you get roughed up a bit
great ride!!!
This is a great water slide and I always make sure I go on it everytime i visit Typhoon Lagoon
OWW
soooo mutch FUN!!!
tasty drinks!
best park in the world!!! i love to go there!
For anyone who remembers the old versions of this tour, the current rendition pales in comparison. The automated narrator, cut down route, and rotting boneyard always makes me wish the old version were still around.
As the other reviewer mentioned, it's a nice area to relax in.
This is a great area for little kids at Blizzard Beach.
Nice long ride, very popular, so often has a very long line.
A great parade in the Magic Kingdom - shame it only appears on the Halloween Party nights that require a separate ticket. Great music, great performers - top notch.
This a great addition to Pixar Place, and is a very well done animatronic. Only problem is, since first appearing, Luxo appears to be out-of-action more than he is in operation. Once reliability issues are fixed this will be a solid show.
This is a good movie featuring the stars from the Lion King. Comfy seats in a nice theater, great for some AC and a change of pace. The show is aging a little now, but worth a see.
Like most of the World Showcase, this show is very unique, and is well worth your time to stop and see it.
This newly built stage has had two shows, and both have been awful. This holiday offering is not much better than the terrible Stitch's Supersonic Celoebration. No fault of the performers, but they were given an badly written show to perform.
The Peace on Earth finale takes the original Reflections of Earth and add on an extra 5 minutes of fireworks. Great narration from Walter Cronkite and great fireworks. The 2009 show saw a reduction in the quanitity of fireworks form previous years, but still a very welcome addition. I'd give the pre-2009 show 10 out of 10, for the current 2009 show, I'll give 9 (because I know it can be even better as shown in the previous years).
The Main Street Philharmonic are one of the best musical groups in the Magic Kingdom. They sounds great, look great, and add that unique style of entertainment that only the Magic Kingdom can deliver.
PS hi
what happened to river country?? :(
Mo'Rockin are one of the best live bands in Epcot. They have a unique sound that's very Epcot. The belly dancer adds a little extra something to the performance - always popular with the men in the crowd!
This one is an absolute must-do for the Disney fan who wants to "peel back the curtain." You'll be amazed to see what it takes to keep a huge "city" like WDW running on a day to day basis. It's not just Pixie Dust; it's also power, water, laundry, etc. You'll see neat backstage things (subject to change, of course) like a costuming shop and the places where attraction vehicles are built; but you'll also get an idea of just how the logistics of the parks are handled.
im short so on this ride every time i get a head ache!
i love stitch but this ride is boring they need a better stitch ride
their is something about this ride that makes it slow!
This is by far the most fun you can have at disney world. The initial launch is amazing. The visuals inside are great. There is definately nothing else like this on earth. unless you count the one in euro disney
i thought when they added the stair case that would make it 1000 happy haunts.
i know. it was bad. but there should be a better show... they cant keep it there with no purpose!
what ever happened to the Adventureland sign on the tree??????????????
this ride is boring
i love the TTA you can see so mutch!! i love it!!
haunted mansion is by far the BEST ride in disney. I love the creepiness of the ride!! its sooooo sweet!!!
